MCM Senior School MUN students at the THIMUN Singapore Conference,

Our Senior School MUN students spent last week at The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) Singapore Conference, tackling issues from Child Obesity to the Militarisation of Outer Space and AI.

After weeks of prep, our delegates joined peers from eight countries for intense debates, speeches, and vital collaborations. We are incredibly proud of their critical thinking and diplomatic successes, including one delegate successfully defending their stance on cattle production.

The experience fostered key skills in lobbying, defending a point of view against a majority, and building deep social connections.

Well done to the entire MCM delegation for an exciting, informative, and inspiring trip.

지난주 헤이그 국제 모델 유엔(THIMUN) 싱가포르 컨퍼런스에서 우리 고등학교 MUN 학생들은 아동 비만부터 우주 및 인공지능의 군사화까지 다양한 문제를 해결하는 데 시간을 보냈습니다.
몇 주간의 준비 끝에 8개국의 동료들과 함께 치열한 토론, 연설, 중요한 협업을 진행했습니다. 한 대표가 소 생산에 대한 입장을 성공적으로 방어하는 등 비판적 사고와 외교적 성공을 거둔 것을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각합니다.
이 경험은 로비 활동, 다수에 대한 관점 방어, 깊은 사회적 관계 구축 등에서 핵심 기술을 육성했습니다.
흥미롭고 유익하며 영감을 주는 여행을 위해 MCM 대표단 전체가 수고하셨습니다.
