Milly and Molly try tried to grow Feather's feathers. Finally, Feather began to grow feathers. Milly and Molly took her to visit the Mayor. Now the Mayor kept magnificent hens and he let them roam free. The Mayor banned keeping hens in factories and passed the word on to the next Mayor, who in turn spoke to the next Mayor and so on and so on, right across the land. Feather's feathers grew back. Milly found an egg in Feather's nest in the morning. Farmer Hegarty suggested, "Let's cook two pieces of toast with eggs." Milly and Molly eat ate delicious toast. If you want a double-yolker for your breakfast, make sure there are no Feathers without feathers where you live.
