We invite you to participate in our study on second language speaking. (See below for Korean 한국어 and Japanese 日本語 information.)
 
We are looking for university students (undergraduate and graduate) who are nonnative users of English. If you participate in our study, you will complete two tasks:
* attend a 30-minute speaking practice session with a member of our research team and register for TOEFL Essentials (10 minutes) (in Moore Hall, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa)
* complete a free version of TOEFL Essentials (at home for ~90 minutes)
 
If you participate, you will receive an official TOEFL Essentials score and you will receive a $30 electronic gift card from Amazon or Starbucks. You will also be invited to complete a second round of participation, for which you could receive an additional $20 electronic gift card. The second round involves recording a presentation you give in class and sending the recording to the researchers.

英語を母国語としないハワイ大学マノア校の学生 (大学生および大学院生) を募集していま
す。参加者には、以下の２種類のタスクを体験していただきます：
• 研究チームのメンバーとスピーキングの練習をするセッションに、30分間参加す
る (Moore Hall内)
• 無料版の TOEFL Essentials を受ける（自宅で約 90 分）
参加者には、TOEFL Essentials の公式スコアに加え、AmazonかStarbucksの電子ギフトカー
ド（＄30相当） をプレゼントします。また、上記の２つのタス
クを完了した方には、本研究の第2ラウンドにもご招待しております。第2ラウンドに継続
して参加いただける方には、さらに追加で ＄20 の電子ギフト カードを差し上げます。 第2
ラウンドでは、授業で行うご自身のプレゼンテーションを録音し、研究者に送っていただ
きます。
