Welcoming parents into our Early Explorers classrooms

There’s no better way to begin a new school year than welcoming parents into our Early Explorers classrooms to experience learning firsthand!

During Week 1, families joined us in school to see how we deliver our hands-on, play-based curriculum—and our students absolutely shone with confidence from the very start. Some of our Early Explorers had only been with us for six days and were already singing the Continents Song with pride!

Linked to our theme “This Is Me,” students led parents in singing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, before switching roles and becoming the teachers as they demonstrated dance moves. Parents were impressed by their confidence, communication skills, and joy in learning.

Families then explored a series of purposeful play stations, including:

Handprint keepsakes

Clothing hunt in sensory rice

Loose-parts face making

Salt dough creations

It was a beautiful morning of connection, creativity, and community, showing how we nurture curious, confident learners at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens.

새 학기를 시작하는 데 부모님을 얼리 익스플로러 교실로 초대하여 직접 학습을 경험하는 것보다 더 좋은 방법은 없습니다!
1주차에는 가족들이 학교에 함께 모여 놀이 중심의 실습 커리큘럼을 어떻게 제공하는지 확인했고, 학생들은 처음부터 자신감에 넘쳐났습니다. 초기 탐험가 중 일부는 6일밖에 함께하지 않았고 이미 자부심을 가지고 대륙의 노래를 부르고 있었습니다!
"이것이 나입니다"라는 주제와 연계하여 학생들은 부모님들이 머리, 어깨, 무릎, 발가락을 노래하는 것을 주도한 후 역할을 바꾸고 춤 동작을 시연하면서 선생님이 되었습니다. 부모님들은 자신감, 의사소통 능력, 학습의 즐거움에 깊은 인상을 받았습니다.
그 후 가족들은 다음과 같은 일련의 목적 있는 놀이 기구를 탐험했습니다:

감각적 쌀에서의 의류 사냥
루즈 파트 페이스 메이킹
소금 반죽 창작물
연결, 창의성, 그리고 공동체의 아름다운 아침이었습니다. 우리가 텐비 스쿨 세티아 에코 가든에서 호기심 많고 자신감 있는 학습자들을 어떻게 육성하는지를 보여주었습니다.
