| The Postgraduate Diploma program allows you to specialise, partners with industry and capitalises on our research expertise. You can choose to specialise in Web Technologies, Software Engineering, Internetworking or Information Systems, or do a broader range of material. Students who perform well (GPA 2.75) can progress to the Master of Information Technology program. |
| Recent graduates holding an ICT degree who are seeking to develop their skills in our specialist areas. Experienced ICT professionals who are seeking to consolidate their existing skills with the latest in best practice and research, or to progress their career in one of our specialist areas. |
| This can give you a competitive advantage in employment over recent graduates from bachelor programs, as well as help your case for promotion or advancement within your chosen field. Graduates from our programs can be employed in a range of occupations, including: Applications Programmer, Web Services Specialist, Web Programmer, Database Administrator, Software Engineer, Network Analyst, Network Manager, Systems Administrator, Project Manager and IT Manager. |

| Entry Requirements: |
Bachelor degree in an ICT related discipline from a recognised university or a Bachelors degree in a broader science or business discipline which involved a substantial practical or theoretical computing component or a Graduate Diploma in an ICT discipline or a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years technical or management work experience in an ICT field. Graduates must have a strong skill in at least one programming language. |

| English Language Requirements: |
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
- Paper based Test: Score of 580 overall, 5.0 TWE and the following scores for each section: Listening 53, Writing 51, Reading 52
- Computer based Test: 237 overall, 5.0 TWE, with a minimum of 19 in each section.
IELTS (International English Language Testing) Score of 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each section.
Students who do not meet the English entry requirements above are advised to include an English Language Course prior to commencing full time study. |
