주간묵상 26-06

<부자 되세요>

세상은 묻는다.

얼마나 가졌는가?

무엇을 소유했는가?

얼마를 축적했는가?

이미 충분히 가졌기에

더 갖고 싶은 것이 없고

적금이 필요 없고

복권에도 관심이 없다면

부자가 아니겠는가?

가진 건 없어도

모든 것 아버지께 맡겼더니

아버지는 이자도 넉넉히 주시며.

무이자 대출도 잘해 주시며

차압도 안 하시며

독촉도 없으시다.

부러운 것도 없고

아쉬운 것도 없고

근심 걱정이 없다면

부자가 아니겠는가?

날마다 만나를 거둔다.

욕심으로 모은 만나는

썩고 벌레가 나지만,

안식일에는 거두지 않아도

풍족하고

썩지도 벌레도 생기지 않는다.

나눌 수 있어 감사하고

꿈을 꿀 수 있어 즐겁고

이웃을 위하여

엎드릴 수 있어 기쁘고

일어서기 전

천사가 문을 두드리니

이 또한 부자가 아닌가?

수천 조를 가졌어도

나눌 줄 모르면 가난뱅이

감사의 눈물이 없으면

비렁뱅이.

피리소리가 들리지 않으면

말기 암환자.

장수의 시간을,

무병의 건강을,

하늘의 지혜를,

세상의 지식을,

은사의 재능을,

축복의 황금을,

나누기 위해 동분서주 하는 자,

최고 재벌이 아니겠는가?

무엇으로 만족하는가?

누구를 의지하는가?

보물을 어디에 쌓아두었는가?

그 어느 누구보다

더 가난했어도

나누며 살았다면

알부자가 아니겠는가?

나누기 위한 계획서를

아버지께 올린다.

나눌수록 많아지는 것은

분명 천국의 원리다.

그렇다면

이미 천국에서 살고 있다.

“돈을 사랑하지 말고 있는 바를

족한 줄로 알라.”(히 13:5)

부자의 기준

소유가 아닌 자유,

축적이 아닌 신뢰,

비교가 아닌 감사.

부자 되세요!

Weekly Meditation 26-06

<Be Rich>

The world asks:

How much do you have?

What do you own?

How much have you accumulated?

If you already have enough,

want nothing more,

need no savings account,

and feel no urge for the lottery-

are you not rich?

Even with nothing in hand,

if you entrust everything to the Father,

He grants generous interest,

offers interest-free loans,

forecloses nothing,

and never sends reminders.

If there is nothing to envy,

nothing to regret,

no worry or anxiety-

are you not rich?

Each day, manna is gathered.

Manna hoarded in greed

spoils and breeds worms;

yet on the Sabbath,

without gathering at all,

there is abundance-

no spoilage, no decay.

Grateful that I can share,

joyful that I can dream,

glad that I can kneel

for the sake of my neighbor.

Before I even rise,

an angel knocks at the door-

is this not wealth?

One may possess trillions,

yet be poor if unable to share;

a beggar without tears of gratitude;

If you don't hear the sound of the flute,

you're a terminally ill cancer patient.

One who rushes about

to give away

long life,

health without sickness,

heavenly wisdom,

worldly knowledge,

gifted talents,

and golden blessings-

is this not the greatest tycoon?

What satisfies you?

Whom do you rely on?

Where have you stored your treasure?

Even if poorer than all,

if you lived by sharing-

are you not truly rich?

I submit to the Father

a plan for giving.

That what is shared multiplies

is surely the law of heaven.

Then I am already living

in the kingdom of heaven.

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have.” (Hebrews 13:5)

The measure of wealth:

freedom, not possession;

trust, not accumulation;

gratitude, not comparison.

Be rich!
