We are pleased to officially announce the appointment of the leadership of the Puerto Rico Haedong Kumdo Association (JSKR) under the authority of the United World Haedong Kumdo Federation, in line with our global mission to share martial arts, philosophy, and healing.

These appointments represent not only official recognition, but also a strong commitment to the development and promotion of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Haedong Kumdo across Puerto Rico.

In collaboration with Instituto Deportivo COODEP and Escuela Deportiva COODEP, under the guidance of Master Elmo Ruiz, we look forward to building strong foundations within schools and communities throughout the island 🇵🇷.

💥 An official Haedong Kumdo Seminar in Puerto Rico is also being planned for early 2026, which will serve as a significant step forward in expanding the system and training future leaders in the region.

Let us walk together in the spirit of martial discipline, harmony, and growth.

📢 Anuncio Oficial de Nombramiento – Asociación de Haedong Kumdo de Puerto Rico

Se anuncia oficialmente que los siguientes miembros han sido nombrados como directivos de la Asociación de Haedong Kumdo de Puerto Rico (JSKR), de acuerdo con las normas y propósitos de la Federación Mundial de Haedong Kumdo.

Este nombramiento representa el reconocimiento formal por parte de la Federación, y confirm‎a el compromiso de dichos miembros con el desarrollo y expansión del Haedong Kumdo Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu (眞英雙劍類) en todo Puerto Rico.

Actualmente, la Asociación colabora con el Instituto Deportivo COODEP y la Escuela Deportiva COODEP, bajo la dirección del Maestro Elmo Ruiz, para integrar el Haedong Kumdo en programas educativos y comunitarios en la isla.

💥 Se anuncia también que está prevista la realización de un Seminario Oficial de Haedong Kumdo en Puerto Rico a inicios del año 2026, como parte de los esfuerzos de formación de líderes regionales y fortalecimiento de la práctica local.

La Federación continúa promoviendo el camino del arte marcial verdadero, basado en la armonía, el equilibrio y el crecimiento interior.
Este anuncio se emite como acto oficial de la Federación Mundial de Haedong Kumdo, con plena validez internacional.

사)세계해동검도연합회는 푸에르토리코 지역의 진영쌍검류 해동검도 보급과 발전을 위하여, 다음과 같이 협회 임원진을 공식 임명하였다.

이 임명은 세계해동검도연합회의 규정에 의거하여 공식적으로 발효된 것으로, 푸에르토리코 지역에서 진영쌍검류 해동검도의 철학과 수련 체계를 널리 전파하고 지도할 자격과 책임을 함께 부여한 것이다.

현재 푸에르토리코 해동검도 협회는 COODEP 체육연구소 및 COODEP 체육학교와 협력하여, 지역 학교 및 공공기관을 중심으로 수련과 교육을 확대하고 있으며, 이는 엘모 관장의 주도 아래 진행되고 있는 중요한 프로젝트이다.

💥 또한, 2026년 초 푸에르토리코에서 공식 해동검도 세미나 개최가 예정되어 있음을 함께 공지한다.
이 세미나는 진영쌍검류 해동검도의 철학과 기술, 힐링 수련을 푸에르토리코 전역에 전수하고 지도자 양성의 기회를 제공하는 중요한 계기가 될 것이다.
