Water inquiry went beyond the classroom!

Our Grade 5 students visited our school’s pump room, where Dr Boomhower, the Head of School, showed students our water infrastructure up close. They set out to discover how water is supplied, managed, distributed, purified and eventually removed from our school.

Back in class, students worked together to analyze the photos they took, and piece together the story of water at M’KIS, while practising what it means to be respectful and responsible researchers.

5학년 학생들이 학교 펌프실을 방문해 붐하워 교장 선생님께서 학생들에게 우리 학교의 상수도 시설을 직접 보여주셨습니다. 그들은 우리 학교에 물이 어떻게 공급되고, 관리되며, 분배되고, 정화되고, 최종적으로 배출되는지 알아보기로 했습니다.

수업 시간에는 학생들이 함께 찍은 사진을 분석하며 M'KIS의 물 이야기를 조합했고, 존중과 책임감을 가진 연구자가 된다는 것이 무엇인지 실습했습니다.
