TORONTO -- Toronto Raptors guard Jalen Rose has a fractured bone in his left hand and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after surgery, ESPN's David Aldridge reports.
Rose had surgery on his broken left hand Tuesday, ending his streak of consecutive NBA games at 286.
Rose looked to be in obvious pain, but he stayed in the game and finished with 19 points.
Rose, averaging 14.4 points and 4.7 assists this season, hasn't missed a game since Nov. 20, 2000. Only Antawn Jamison's streak of 296 straight games is longer among active players.
Rose suffered the injury during the first quarter of the Raptors' 84-81 overtime win Sunday against Golden State when he collided with the Warriors' Clifford Robinson.
Acquired from Chicago on Dec. 1, the 6-foot-8 Rose is averaging 14.4 points and 4.7 assists this season.
