CAS journey, two Year 12 studen-Mechanical Engineering CCA

As part of their CAS journey, two Year 12 students have taken the lead in a Mechanical Engineering CCA, inspiring others to dive into the world of engineering and physics through hands-on projects.

This term’s challenge? Designing and building a fully functional trebuchet using meranti wood and aluminium rods!

In the makerspace, students gained valuable technical skills and explored simple mechanisms to bring their trebuchet to life — one lever, pivot, and counterweight at a time.

CAS 여정의 일환으로 12학년 2학년 학생들은 기계공학 CCA에 앞장서서 실습 프로젝트를 통해 다른 학생들이 공학 및 물리학 분야로 뛰어들도록 영감을 주었습니다.

메이커 스페이스에서 학생들은 귀중한 기술력을 습득하고 트레부셰를 생동감 있게 만드는 간단한 메커니즘을 탐구했습니다. 한 번에 하나의 레버, 피벗, 균형추를 사용할 수 있었습니다.
