A Close-Up on Science in Action!

Our curious Year 5T students embarked on a hands-on scientific adventure, exploring the reproductive parts of the hibiscus flower.

They observed the stigma, style, anthers, and pistil—discovering how each plays a vital role in the fascinating process of plant reproduction. The ovules tucked inside the pistil and the golden-yellow pollen grains on the anthers sparked awe and excitement, especially as many were seeing these tiny structures up close for the very first time!

The lesson was more than just observation—it was an eye-opening experience that ignited wonder, curiosity, and pride in their newfound knowledge.

At AHIS, we believe learning comes alive when students explore the world with their own eyes, and this session was a beautiful reminder of how science can inspire lasting curiosity in young minds.
