Anti-Bullying presentation on the theme “Respect for All – Power for Good.”

During the school assembly on Tuesday, 9 September 2025, our Deputy Principal, Ms. Jane Adams, delivered an impactful Anti-Bullying presentation on the theme “Respect for All – Power for Good.”

This initiative supports the Ministry of Education Malaysia’s nationwide anti-bullying campaign, aims to raise awareness, nurture empathy, and foster a culture of mutual respect among students.

She reminded us of the importance of recognising and standing up against bullying, which can happen both face-to-face and online. Bullying is not just about unkind words or actions — it is repeated, intentional, and deliberate behaviour that makes others feel helpless. She encouraged all AHIS students to play their part in creating a Safe Zone at school by becoming a HERO:

- Help others

- Empathise with those in need

- Report unkind behaviour

- Open up and speak out

To put this into action, students will also take part in a House Competition designed to promote kindness and respect, strengthening our community spirit and ensuring Austin Heights remains a safe and supportive environment for all.

Let’s all commit to being HEROES every day — together, we can ensure AHIS is a place where respect and kindness always win.

2025년 9월 9일 화요일에 열린 학교 총회에서 제인 애덤스 부교장은 "모두에 대한 존중 – 선을 위한 권력"이라는 주제로 충격적인 반불링 프레젠테이션을 진행했습니다
이 이니셔티브는 말레이시아 교육부의 전국적인 괴롭힘 방지 캠페인을 지원하고, 인식 제고, 공감 능력 함양 및 학생들 간의 상호 존중 문화를 조성하는 것을 목표로 합니다.
그녀는 대면과 온라인 모두에서 발생할 수 있는 괴롭힘에 대해 인식하고 맞서 싸우는 것의 중요성을 상기시켰습니다. 괴롭힘은 불친절한 말이나 행동뿐만 아니라 반복적이고 의도적이며 의도적이며 의도적인 행동으로 인해 다른 사람들이 무력감을 느끼는 것입니다. 그녀는 모든 AHIS 학생들이 HERO가 되어 학교에서 안전지대를 만드는 데 자신의 역할을 다할 것을 권장했습니다:
- 다른 사람 돕기
- 도움이 필요한 사람들과 공감하기
- 불친절한 행동 보고하기
- 마음을 열고 목소리를 내다
이를 실행에 옮기기 위해 학생들은 친절과 존중을 증진하고 공동체 정신을 강화하며 오스틴 하이츠가 모두에게 안전하고 지원적인 환경으로 남을 수 있도록 설계된 하우스 대회에도 참가할 것입니다.
