The LSAT and GPA are weighed evenly; therefore, applications will be more competitive with a high LSAT and GPA score. Examples of applicants accepted into the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Law include:
- LSAT = 99th percentile, GPA = 68%
- LSAT = 165, GPA = 78%
- LSAT = 155, GPA = 86%
- LSAT = 164, GPA = 82%
Applicants with high GPA scores and low LSAT scores or high LSAT scores and low GPA scores are still competitive applicants. However, having strong scores for both the GPA and LSAT will ensure an applicant’s acceptance into law school.
