MCM-Lower Sixth IB Geographers fieldwork to Gunung Pulai

Our Lower Sixth IB Geographers recently headed to Gunung Pulai, swapping the classroom for hands-on fieldwork in the rainforest.

Working across several river sites, pupils collected data for their Internal Assessments, measuring river velocity, sediment size and water quality, while examining how river characteristics change from upstream to downstream.

The day concluded with a hike to the waterfall and a well-deserved swim, a fitting end to a purposeful and productive day in the field.
