6. 아프리카 - 2 

탄자니아에도 여러 가지로 어려움이 있다는 것을 압니다. 가정 문제라든지 청소년 문제라든가 에이즈의 문제로 부모를 잃은 고아들이 많다고 들었는데, 아프리카의 여러 나라들이 그런 것으로 알고 있습니다.

그렇기 때문에 순결 운동과 참가정 운동이 절실하게 필요한 곳이 아프리카입니다. 여러분이 '새 마음 운동'과 '새마을 운동'으로 아프리카를 새롭게 정화시켜 나가야 합니다.

전쟁을 치른 1950년대의 한국은 지금 여러분들의 나라보다 더 어려운 실정이었습니다. 그때 아버님이 소수의 무리를 동원해서 국가 부흥의 기틀을 만드셨습니다.

아버님은 어려웠던 초창기에 중고생들을 중심하고 전국적으로 계몽운동을 실시하셨습니다. 시골에서부터 글을 가르치고 농촌운동에 주력하셨습니다. 그렇게 기반을 닦아서 오늘날 한국이 선진국의 대열에 합류할 수 있는 위치에 선 것입니다.

그때는 한국이라는 한 나라에서 시작했지만, 지금 여러분의 입장은 다릅니다. 여러분의 주변이 다 같은 입장이고, 또 도와줄 수 있는 자리에 있는 나라들도 많이 있습니다.

여러분이 이 나라의 주인이라는 의식을 가지고, 내가 이 나라를 새롭게 한다는 정신으로 24시간이 짧다고 생각하고 열심히 움직이면 이 나라에도 희망이 있을 것입니다.

6. アフリカ - 2 

タンザニアにも様々な困難があるということを知っています。家庭間題とか青少年問題とかエイズの問題で親を失った孤児たちがたくさんいるということを聞きましたが、アフリカのいくつもの国がそのような状況にあることを知っています。

それゆえに、純潔運動と真の家庭運動が切実に必要な所がアフリカです。皆さんが「新しい心運動」と「新しい村運動」でアフリカを新しく浄化していかなければなりません。戦争をした1950年代の韓国は、今の皆さんの国よりも大変な実情でした。

その時お父様が少数の群れを動員して、国家復興の土台をつくられたのです。お父様は困難であった草創期に、中高生たちを中心に全国的に啓蒙運動を実施されました。田舎で文字を教え、農村運動に力を注がれました。

そのように基盤を築くことで、今日、韓国が先進国の隊列に合流できる位置に立ったのです。その時は韓国という一つの国から始まりましたが、今、皆さんの立場は違います。皆さんの周辺もみな同じ立場であり、また手助けできる立場にある国々もたくさんあります。

皆さんがこの国の主人であるという意識をもって、「私がこの国を新しくする」という精神で、24時間は短いと思って熱心に動くなら、この国にも希望があるでしょう。（2006.7.21、タンザニア、ダルエスサラーム）

6. Africa - 2

I know that there are various difficulties in Tanzania. I have heard that there are domestic and juvenile problems, and also many orphaned children who have lost their parents to AIDS, though I know that this is also true of several other nations in Africa.

That is why Africa is a place that desperately needs the pure love movement and the true family movement. You should carry out the work of newly purifying Africa through the New Mind, New Life Campaign and the New Community Movement.
 
Korea in the 1950s after the war was in a more difficult situation than this country is in today. At that time, True Father mobilized a small number of people and created the basis for national revival.

Though things were difficult in the beginning time, True Father carried out a nationwide enlightenment movement centering on middle and high school students.

He taught those in rural areas to read and focused on the agricultural movement. On the foundation thus laid, today's Korea was able to join the ranks of the advanced nations.
 
At that time, we started out in one country, Korea, but you are in a different position now. Those around you are also in the same position as you, and many countries are able to help you.

There is hope for this country if you work actively, almost as if twenty-four hours a day is not enough, with the awareness that you are the owners of this country and with the resolution to renew this country with your own hands. (2006.07.21, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania)
