UNLV Professor and CARP Advisor Jarret Keene visits CARP House

On August 22nd, CARP Las Vegas welcomed a special guest to the CARP House. Jarret Keene is a professor at UNLV who teaches World Literature. He has been the official faculty advisor for CARP Las Vegas after two CARP members took one of his classes. He has always been an eager and positive supporter for CARP.

We had a wonderful conversation at the CARP House. Professor Keene was able to see the culture of heart at the CARP House, and was able to share from his heart about what he believes is important in life, and the type of impact that he wants to give to his students. We talked about the damage that has been done to society when people abandon absolute moral values. Professor Keene strongly believes in the value of family, and resonated with CARP's message to teach about purity and striving for growth as an individual. He shared the challenge of being a professor in a work environment that has been heavily influenced by the agendas of leftist/Marxist thought. It was a very hopeful meeting, and the start of greater collaboration between like-minded professors who can resonate with True Parents' vision. Professor Keene also expressed interest in coming to the Blessing Education barbecue on September 2nd with his wife (who is also a professor)!
