YOON IOnce upon a time An old couple lived In a villageSo hard to make a living, you see Throughout the year Not having a single fish  Then one day a fishmonger Came into the town with a basket of fishShouted right in front of the village Fish for sale Fish for sale The old couple’s daughter-in-law dashed out How much for this one? touching it How much for that one? touching it Then hurried back home to make a soup She washed her hands in the potThe ones that touched fish a lot Then stirred in the pot Oh how tasty the soup was The old couple exclaimed in unison Wow, this fish soup today really good! The daughter-in-law tells the truth Today the fishmonger came, as couldn’t afford; instead, just touched it. Then washed my hands in the pot, hoping for the best! After hearing this tale The granny grew mad If you had washed your hands in the well, we would have eaten fish soup all year long. But does that make sense if we can eat this just once for all?  IIOnce in a village, not far away, Lived an old couple, struggling each day. They wanted to eat fish but couldn't afford it, Not a single fish in their tough living. Then one sunny morn, with a shout and a cheer, A fishmonger came, bringing fish oh so near! "Fish for sale! Come take a look!"The couple’s daughter-in-law ran out with a hook. "How much for this one?" she asked with delight, Touching each fish, her eyes shining bright. Then back to her home, she hurried with glee, To make a warm soup for the family. She washed her hands in a pot with care, From all of the fish, she couldn’t quite share. But oh, when she stirred, what a smell filled the air! The soup was delicious, beyond all compare! The old couple cheered, "What a treat today!" "This fish soup is grand in every way!“ But then came the truth, with a hint of regret, "I only touched fish, no money to get!“ The granny grew mad, her eyes open wide, "If you’d washed in the well, we’d have fish by our side!
