제1장.上經(상경) 21訓(훈) 157事(사). Chapter 1. Upper Scripture : 21 Lessons, 157 Deeds. 제1 강령 성(誠).....정성.....第1事(제1사) The 1st Principle : Sincerity(誠 성,- Seong)... Devotion... The First Deed 제1체 敬神(경신).....지극하게 공경함.....第2事 The 1st Body : Reverence for God(敬神 경신, - Gyeong - sin).                           Utmost Respect and Honor... The Second Deed 제1용 존봉(尊奉).....높히 숭배함..... 第3事 The 1st Application : Veneration(尊奉 존봉,- Jon- bong)                                      Worshiping with High Regard... The Third Deed 존(尊)은 숭배함이며 봉(奉)은 정성으로서 마음에 새겨 잊지 않음이다. [ Veneration(尊 존, - Jon) means  to worship and hold in high esteem.     Offering(奉 봉, - Bong) means to engrave into one′s heart with devotion and never forget.] 인간이하나님을 숭배하여 정성으로서 마음에 새겨 잊지 아니하면 하나님께서 인간의 정(精)에 하강하시니 마치 갓난아이에게 젖을 먹이는 것과 같고 얼어붙은 몸에 옷을 입혀 주는 것과도 같은 것이다.[If a human being worships God and engraves that devotion in their heart so as never to forget it,    God descends into the person′s Essence(精 정, - Jeong).   This is like a mother breast- feeding a newborn baby,      or like putting clothess on a baby that is frozen with cold.] 만약에 정성이 없이 하나님을 숭배한다면 귀머거리나 소경과 같아서 하나님의 소리를 들으려 해도 들리지 않고 하나님의 모습을 보려 해도 보이지 않는다. [ However, if one worships God without true devotion,      it is like being deaf or blind, even if they try to hear the voice of God,       it remains unheard, and even if they try to see the form of God,   it remains invisible.]   ※ Key Conepts.(주요 개념 해설)     ● Essence(精 정, - Jeong) : 인간의 가장 근본적인 생명 에너지나 맑은 정신을 뜻합니다.                                                             정성이 지극할 때 하나님의 기운이 이 精(정)에 깃든다는 설명입니다.         ● The Metaphor (비유) : 어머니의 젖이나 따뜻한 옷으로 비유한 것은 하나님의 은총이                                                         인간에게 생존과 보호를 제공하는 필수적이고 따뜻한 사랑임을 강조합니다.        ● Sincerity(정성) : 정성이 없는 형식적인 신앙은 영적인 감각(귀와 눈)을                                               마비시킨다는 엄중한 경고를 담고 있습니다.               * 진정한 신앙의 핵심은 형식이 아니라 "잊지 않는 마음의 정성"에 있음을 이야기함.       [Original Text, 원문]   ■ 尊은 崇拜也오 奉은 誠佩也라(존은 숭배야오 봉은 성패야라)     [Veneration (Jon) is to worship, Offering (Bong) is to wear sincerity in one′s heart.]   ■ 人而尊奉天神이면 天神이 亦降精于人하여(인이존봉천신이면 천신이 역강정우인하여)      [If aperson venerates and offers to God, God likewise descends his essence into that person.]   ■ 如乳於赤喘하며 衣於凍體하고(여우어적천하며 의동어체하고)      [ It is like giving milk to a gasping infant, or providing clothes to a freezing body.]   ■ 若無誠而尊之면 且聾且盲하여(약무성이존지면 차농차매아여)      [ If one worships without sincerity, they become both deaf and blind.]    ■ 聽之無聞 하고 視之無見이니라.(청지무문하고 시지무견이니라.)             [They listen but do not hear, they look but do not see.]  [Interpretation ,풀이] 내용은 삼일신고의(제2장 일신)에서 "聲氣願禱絶親見自性求子降在爾腦" (성기원도 절친견 자성구자 강재이뇌)라하여 "소리와 기(氣)를 다하여 원하고 기도하면 반드시 하나님을 친견할 수 있으니 스스로의 본바탕(性)에서 하나님의 씨(子)를 구하라. 인간의 뇌(腦)에 하나님(一神)이 내려와 계신다." 라는 내용과 그 개념에서 일치되는 내용이다. [  This content aligns with the concepts found in Chapter 2( II-sin / One God) of the Samil - singo,     which states : "聲氣願禱絶親見自性求子降在爾腦(성기원도 절친견 자성구자 강재이뇌)"          (Seek through sound and vital energy with earnest prayer,     and you shall surely meet Him face - to - face. Seek the seed within your own nature,              He has already descended and resides in your brain.)             This means that if you pary with all your sound and vital energy(氣 기, Qi),           you con certainly have a personal audience with God.            It instructs us to "Seek the seed(divinty) within your own original nature."           It is consistent with the idea that God(the One God) has descended            and resides within the human brain(mind).]  ※ Key Conepts.(주요 개념 해설)              ● 誠佩(성패, Seong- pae) : '정성을 차다(지니다)'라는 뜻으로,                   노리개나 장식물을 몸에 차듯 정성을 항상 마음속에 간직한다는 문학적 표현입니다.                   ("Wearing sincerity")              ● 聲氣願禱(성기원도, Seong-gi-won-do) : 목소리와 기운을 다해 간절히 기도함을 뜻하며,                                                                                     단순한 말 이상의 온몸을 다한 염원을 의미합니다.               ● 自性求子(자성구자, Ja-seong-gu-ja) : 자신의 본성에서(하늘의 씨앗)을 찾는다는 뜻으로,                                                                                   깨달음의 주체가 자기 내면에 있음을 강조합니다.         * 결국 하나님은 멀리 계신 것이 아니라 우리 머리(내면) 속에 이미 계시며,                      그것을 깨닫고 연결되어 유일한 방법은 오직 "거짓 없는 정성" 뿐이라는 점을 역설함.
