Floorball a demonstration sport in the SEA Games

동남 아시안게임에 2015년 부터 플로어볼이 시범종목이 된다고 합니다. 제가 알기로는 싱가폴협회와 국제연맹이 많은 노력을 한 것으로 알고 있습니다.   우리에겐 생소한 대회 일 수 있으나 IOC와 OCA가 인정하고 관리하는 대회로 우리의 아시안 게임과 비슷하다고 생각하면 됩니다. 현재 동남아시아 11개국이 참가하고 있으며 2015년엔 아마도 싱가폴, 필리핀, 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 태국 정도가 플로어볼대회에 참가할 예정입니다..... 이대회가 우리에게 중요한 이유는 이러한 국제대회가 생기게 되면 동남아시아 각나라에서 엘리트 스포츠로 인정을 받게 된다는 의미이며 위의 5개국 같은 경우 출전할 때 나라에서 경비가 지원되고 국가대표팀이 운영될 수 있는 지원이 나온다는 의미입니다.   그렇게 되면 1차적으로 아시아 오세아니아 세계선수권 대륙예선에 많은 팀이 참가하게 되어 아시아 지역에 티켓이 많이 나올 수 있게 되고..... 2차적으로는 아시안게임 가입이 훨씬 쉬워 진다는 장점들이 있습니다... 아시안게임 가입은 우리가 ^^ <DIV id=sisalto> <H1>  Floorball a demonstration sport in the SEA Games 2013 — 07.02.2013</H1> <IMG title="" border=0 hspace=0 alt="" align=left src="https://img1.daumcdn.net/relay/cafe/original/?fname=http%3A%2F%2Fwindows3.salibandy.net%2FYleiskuvat%2FLogosBanners%2FIFF_OneWorldOneBall_Green_150x150.jpg">The Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), is a biennial multi-sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries of Southeast Asia. The Games are under regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia. The IFF has now received the positive news that floorball will for the first time be included as a demonstration sport in the SEA Games in 2013 in Myanmar. This was decided during the SEAGF Council meeting, January 28th – 29th 2013, in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. The preliminary dates for the SEA Games 2013 are December 11th - 22nd 2013. The IFF has at the moment members in five out of eleven SEA Games countries. These countries are: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The inclusion of floorball in the 2013 SEA Games is of course fabulous news for the development of our sport, says IFF President, Mr. Tomas Eriksson. The IFF AOFC Vice President Mr. Sani Mohd Salim will on February 25th – 28th go to Myanmar to have a meeting with the Singapore Sports Council, in order to discuss the details of the floorball tournament.
