Year 11 : trip to Sime Darby Factory

As part of the Year 11 IGCSE Business, Economics, Additional Mathematics and Mathematics syllabus, students are supposed to learn about the production process in Business and Economics, Differentiation & Integration in Additional Mathematics, as wells as Linear Programming in Mathematics. To relate this topic to real-life situation teachers organize a trip to Sime Darby Factory on 9th February 2018 to expose the students about the production process and the application of Mathematics in the laboratory. Students have the opportunities to experience the process of making cupcake and chocolate, informative tour of the laboratory and visited the warehouse to see themselves the process of packaging and production line of palm oil products.
