3  Quand Judas, qui l’avait trahi, vit que Jésus avait été condamné, il eut des remords et rapporta les 30 pièces d’argent aux prêtres en chef et aux anciens+. 
4  Il leur dit : « J’ai péché en livrant un innocent*. » Ils répondirent : « Qu’est-​ce que cela peut nous faire ? C’est ton problème ! » 
5  Alors il jeta les pièces d’argent dans le Temple. Puis il partit et alla se pendre+. 
6  Les prêtres en chef prirent les pièces d’argent et dirent : « Il n’est pas permis de les mettre dans le trésor sacré, parce qu’elles sont le prix payé pour le sang d’un homme*. » 
7  Après avoir tenu conseil, ils achetèrent avec cet argent le champ du potier pour y enterrer les étrangers. 
8  C’est pourquoi ce champ s’appelle champ du Sang+ jusqu’à ce jour. 
9  Ainsi s’accomplit ce que le prophète Jérémie avait annoncé : « Ils ont pris les 30 pièces d’argent — le prix qui a été fixé pour l’homme, celui qu’ont mis à prix certains des fils d’Israël — 
10  et les ont données pour le champ du potier, comme Jéhovah* me l’avait ordonné+. »


3  Then Judas, his betrayer, seeing that Jesus had been condemned, felt remorse and brought the 30 pieces of silver back to the chief priests and elders,+ 
4  saying: “I sinned when I betrayed innocent blood.” They said: “What is that to us? You must see to it!”* 
5  So he threw the silver pieces into the temple and departed. Then he went off and hanged himself.+ 
6  But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said: “It is not lawful to put them into the sacred treasury, because they are the price of blood.” 
7  After consulting together, they used the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for strangers. 
8  Therefore, that field has been called Field of Blood+ to this very day. 
9  Then what was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “And they took the 30 silver pieces, the price that was set on the man, the one on whom a price was set by some of the sons of Israel, 
10  and they gave them for the potter’s field, according to what Jehovah* had commanded me.”+


3  그때에 배반자 유다는 예수께서 유죄 판결을 받으신 것을 보고 후회하여 은 30닢을 수제사장들과 장로들에게 돌려주면서+ 
4  “내가 무고한 피를 팔아넘겨 죄를 지었습니다” 하고 말했다. 그들은 “그게 우리와 무슨 상관이오? 당신이 알아서 하시오!”* 하고 말했다. 
5  그러자 그는 은화를 성전에 던지고 떠났다. 그리고 가서 목매어 죽었다.+ 
6  수제사장들은 그 은화를 거두면서 “이것은 핏값이니 성전 보물고에 넣어서는 안 되오” 하고 말했다. 
7  그들은 함께 의논한 후에, 나그네들의 묘지로 쓰려고 그 돈으로 도공의 밭을 샀다. 
8  그래서 그 밭은 오늘날까지도 ‘피밭’이라고+ 불린다. 
9  그리하여 예언자 예레미야를 통해 하신 이런 말씀이 성취되었다. “그들은 값이 매겨진 사람의 몸값 곧 일부 이스라엘 자손이 값을 매긴 사람의 몸값인 은 30닢을 받아 
10  도공의 밭을 사는 값으로 그 돈을 주었다. 이것은 여호와*께서 내게 명령하신 대로였다.”+
