고린도후서 5:1-5 만일 땅에 있는 우리의 장막 집이 무너지면 하나님께서 지으신 집 곧 손으로 지은 것이 아니요 하늘에 있는 영원한 집이 우리에게 있는 줄 아나니 과연 우리가 여기 있어 탄식하며 하늘로부터 오는 우리 처소로 덧입기를 간절히 사모하노니 이렇게 입음은 벗은 자들로 발견되지 않으려 함이라 이 장막에 있는 우리가 짐 진 것 같이 탄식하는 것은 벗고자 함이 아니요 오직 덧입고자 함이니 죽을 것이 생명에게 삼킨 바 되게 하려 함이라 곧 이것을 우리에게 이루게 하시고 보증으로 성령을 우리에게 주신 이는 하나님이시니라

땅에 있는 우리의 장막은 우리의 육체를 의미한다. 세상에 사는 동안 예수님을 믿고 회개한 자들은 죽는 순간에 부활의 몸을 입고 천국에 들어가 주님과 더불어 영원히 사는 것이다. 그러나 세상 욕심을 따라 살면서 회개하지 않은 자들은 심판의 부활을 입고 지옥에 가서 영원히 고통받는 것이다.

죄에서 구원받은 자들도 부활의 몸을 입을 때를 간절히 기다린다. 세상에 사는 동안 모든 육체는 연약함과 육체의 소욕 아래 놓여 있다. 마귀는 항상 우리의 육체를 미혹한다. 그러므로 예수님의 이름으로 마귀를 물리쳐야 하며, 성령의 능력으로 이겨야 한다. 우리는 이러한 무거운 짐에서 벗어나기를 간절히 사모하는 것이다.

끝까지 예수님의 피와 성령의 능력으로 세상을 이겨야 한다. 순종과 회개의 삶을 살아야 한다. 항상 그리스도로 옷 입어야 한다. 항상 그리스도께서 우리의 연약함을 덮고 감싸 주셔야 한다. 죄와 사망에 빠지는 우리의 생명이 그리스도의 생명에 삼킨 바 되어야 한다.

이 일을 끝까지 이루기 위하여 성령께서 우리 안에 오셨다. 성령은 우리를 천국까지 이끄시는 보증이시다. 성령의 보호와 도움이 없이는 아무도 천국에 이를 수 없다. 성령께서 우리에게 그리스도를 알게 하시고, 그의 말씀에 순종하게 하시며, 우리의 죄를 지적하여 회개하게 하시는 것이다.

성령은 보이지 않는 하나님 자신이시다. 성령께서 처녀를 통하여 인간의 몸을 입으셨고, 예수 그리스도로 태어나 인류의 죄를 짊어지고 십자가에서 죽으시고 부활하신 것이다. 그리고 성령께서 다시 세상에 내려오셔서 예수 그리스도로 이루셨던 모든 구원의 길을 깨닫게 하시고, 우리를 그 길로 인도하여 구원하시는 것이다.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5

For we know that if our earthly tent is destroyed, we have a house from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For here we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that we may not be found naked. For we who are in this tent groan as we are burdened, not to be unclothed, but to be clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. And it is God who has accomplished this for us and has given us the Holy Spirit as a guarantee.

Our earthly tent refers to our physical bodies. Those who believe in Jesus and repent while living in this world will receive a resurrected body at the moment of death, enter Heaven, and live eternally with the Lord. However, those who live according to worldly desires without repenting will receive a resurrection of judgment, go to hell, and suffer eternal torment.

Those who are saved from sin also earnestly await the time when they will receive a resurrected body. While living in this world, all flesh is subject to weakness and the desires of the flesh. The devil constantly tempts our flesh. Therefore, we must cast out the devil in the name of Jesus and overcome him through the power of the Holy Spirit. We earnestly long to be freed from this heavy burden.

We must overcome the world to the very end through the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. We must live a life of obedience and repentance. We must always be clothed in Christ. Christ must always cover and embrace our weaknesses. Our lives, which fall into sin and death, must be swallowed up by the life of Christ.

To accomplish this work to the very end, the Holy Spirit has come into us. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee that leads us to Heaven. No one can reach Heaven without the protection and help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to know Christ, to obey His word, and to point out our sins so that we may repent.

The Holy Spirit is the invisible God Himself. The Holy Spirit took on a human body through a virgin, was born as Jesus Christ, bore the sins of mankind, died on the cross, and resurrected. And the Holy Spirit comes down to the world again to make us realize all the ways of salvation accomplished through Jesus Christ, and leads us along that path to salvation.
