Bible Reading - Acts 7:31~40

7:31 When he saw this, he was amazed at the sight. 그는 이것을 보고 그 광경에 놀랐다.

As he went over to look more closely, he heard the Lord's voice:

그가 더 자세히 보려고 다가갔을 때, 그는 주님의 음성을 들었다.

7:32 'I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.' 

나는 너의 선조들의 하나님, 곧 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 하나님이다.

Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.

모세는 두려움으로 떨면서 감히 쳐다보지 못했다.

7:33 "Then the Lord said to him, 그때 주님께서 그에게 말씀하셨다.

'Take off your sandals; the place where you are standing is holy ground.

너의 신발을 벗어라. 네가 서있는 곳은 거룩한 땅이다.

7:34 I have indeed seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. 

나는 참으로 이집트에서 내 백성들이 압제받고 있는 것을 보았다.

I have heard their groaning and have come down to set them free. 

나는 그들의 신음을 듣고 그들을 자유케하려고 내려왔다.

Now come, I will send you back to Egypt.'

이제 오라, 내가 너를 이집트에 돌려보낼 것이다. 

7:35 "This is the same Moses whom they had rejected with the words, 'Who made you ruler and judge?' 이 사람이 바로 그들이 '누가 너를 통치자요 재판관으로 세웠느냐?'라고 말하며 거부했던 그 모세이다.

He was sent to be their ruler and deliverer by God himself, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

하나님께서는 떨기나무 가운데 나타난 천사를 통해 그를 친히 그들의 통치자이자 구원자로 보내셨다.

7:36 He led them out of Egypt and did wonders and miraculous signs in Egypt, at the Red Sea and for forty years in the desert.

그는 그들을 이집트 밖으로 이끌었으며 이집트와 홍해에서 그리고 광야에서 40년 동안 이적과 기적적인 표적을 행하였다.
7:37 "This is that Moses who told the Israelites, 'God will send you a prophet like me from your own people.'

이것이 모세가 이스라엘 사람들에게 말했던 것이다. '하나님은 너희 자신의 백성으로부터 나와같은 선지자 하나를 너희에게 보낼 것이다.'

7:38 He was in the assembly in the desert, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; and he received living words to pass on to us.

그는 광야의 회중에 있었고, 시내산에서 그에게 말씀하신 천사와 우리 조상들과 함께 있었으며 그리고 그는 우리에게 전해줄 살아 있는 말씀을 받았다.

7:39 "But our fathers refused to obey him. 그러나 우리의 조상들은 그에게 복종하기를 거절했다.

Instead, they rejected him and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.

대신에, 그들은 그를 거절했고 그들의 마음으로 이집트로 돌아갔다.

7:40 They told Aaron, 'Make us gods who will go before us.

그들은 아론에게 "우리에게 우리 앞에서 갈 신들을 만들어라.

 As for this fellow Moses who led us out of Egypt

이집트에서 우리를 인도해 낸 모세라는 사람에 대해서 말하자면

--we don't know what has happened to him!' 우리는 그에게 일어난 것을 알지 못한다.
