고린도후서 7:10-11 하나님의 뜻대로 하는 근심은 후회할 것이 없는 구원에 이르게 하는 회개를 이루는 것이요 세상 근심은 사망을 이루는 것이니라 보라 하나님의 뜻대로 하게 한 이 근심이 너희로 얼마나 간절하게 하며 얼마나 변명하게 하며 얼마나 분하게 하며 얼마나 두렵게 하며 얼마나 사모하게 하며 얼마나 열심있게 하며 얼마나 벌하게 하였는가, 너희가 저 일에 대하여 일절 너희 자신의 깨끗함을 나타내었느니라.

하나님의 뜻대로 살기 위해 근심하는 것은 후회할 것이 없는 구원을 이룬다. 매일 회개하고 순종하려고 애쓰는 것은 영적인 훈련이다. 이 훈련은 쉽지 않기 때문에 고심하게 된다. 그러나 이 훈련을 잘 마치는 사람은 천국에 들어가 영원히 행복하게 산다. 세상에서 고생했던 것에 대해 충분한 보상을 받으며, 전혀 후회하지 않는다.

죄를 회개하지 못해 지옥으로 가는 사람은 불 속에서 영원히 후회한다. 천국과 지옥을 생각하며 우리는 날마다 영적인 훈련을 해야 한다. 당장은 괴롭지만 천국으로 가는 길을 걸어야 한다. 간절한 마음으로 성령의 도우심을 요청하라. 이웃을 용서하며 선하게 살기를 힘쓰라. 이는 결코 헛수고가 아니다.

세상 욕심 때문에 주님의 뜻에 순종하지 못하는 것을 원통하게 여기라. 알면서도 자신의 교만을 낮추지 못하는 실상을 근심하며 회개하라. 자신을 엄격히 다스려 겸손하게 만들어라. 완악한 마음을 부드럽게 하라. 미움을 버리고 사랑하기를 힘쓰라. 몸과 마음을 다해 기도하며 노력하면 조금씩 변화가 일어난다. 힘쓰는 사람을 성령께서 도우신다.

천국에 가기를 사모하라. 죄악 된 세상에 물들지 않기를 힘쓰라. 사람들의 비방을 두려워하지 말라. 사탄의 공격을 무서워하지 말라. 주님께서 허락하지 않으시면 사탄은 우리에게 아무런 해도 끼칠 수 없다. 고난과 환난은 우리 안에 감추어진 죄를 드러내고 회개하게 한다.

인간의 교리를 믿고 편하게 신앙생활을 하는 것은 지옥으로 가는 길이다. 삶이 평안할 때는 아무도 회개하지 않는다. 자신의 거짓되고 악한 삶을 깨닫지 못하고 버리지 않는다. 스스로 교만해지고 추악한 자신을 자랑한다. 이런 삶은 주님의 원수로 사는 것이며, 구원받지 못하는 신앙생활이다. 한 번의 구원이 영원한 구원은 아니다. 태어나기 전에 구원받는 것이 아니다. 교회만 다니면 천국에 가는 것이 아니다.

2 Corinthians 7:10-11

For Godly sorrow produces repentance that leads to salvation and not to be regretted, but worldly sorrow produces death. See how this godly sorrow has made you earnest, what excuses, what indignation, what fear, what yearning, what earnestness, what punishment, and you have shown yourselves to be pure in all these things.

Being anxious to live according to God's will achieves salvation without regret. Repenting and striving to be obedient every day is a spiritual discipline. This training is not easy, so you struggle. However, those who successfully complete this training will enter heaven and live happily ever after. He receives ample compensation for his hard work in this world and has no regrets at all.

Those who go to hell because they cannot repent of their sins will regret it forever in the fire. Thinking about heaven and hell, we must engage in spiritual training every day. It may be painful right now, but we must walk the path to heaven. Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit with a desperate heart. Forgive your neighbors and try to live a good life. This is by no means a wasted effort.

Feel bitter that you cannot obey the will of the Lord because of worldly desires. Be sorrowful and repent of the fact that you cannot humble your pride even though you know it. Discipline yourself strictly and be humble. Soften your hard heart. Let go of hatred and strive to love. If you pray and make efforts with your body and mind, change will occur little by little. The Holy Spirit helps those who work hard.

Desire to go to heaven. Try not to be stained by the sinful world. Don't be afraid of people's criticism. Do not be afraid of Satan's attacks. Satan cannot do any harm to us unless the Lord allows it. Suffering and tribulation reveal the sins hidden within us and cause us to repent.

Believing in human doctrines and living a comfortable religious life is the road to hell. When life is peaceful, no one repents. They do not realize and do not abandon their false and evil lives. They become arrogant and boast about their ugly self. This kind of life is living as an enemy of the Lord, and is a life of faith that cannot lead to salvation. One-time salvation is not eternal salvation. You are not saved before you are born. You don't go to heaven just by going to church.
