누가복음 6장 46절에 "너희는 나를 불러 주여 주여 하면서도 어찌하여 나의 말하는 것을 행치 아니하느냐"라고 말씀하셨습니다.

성경은 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리라 하셨지만, 우리는 이 말씀을 바로 깨달아야 합니다. 단순히 입술로만 주여 주여 하면 되는 것이 아닙니다. 주님의 이름을 부른다는 것은 곧 주님의 말씀을 따르고 순종한다는 것을 의미합니다.

그러나 많은 교회들이 성경대로 가르치지 않기 때문에 수많은 교인들이 형식적으로 예수 믿다가 지옥에 가는 것입니다. 진실히 예수 이름을 부른다는 것은 예수님의 말씀대로 사는 것입니다. 마음으로 믿지 않으면서 습관적으로 예수 이름을 찬양하는 교인들이 너무 많습니다.

참 믿음과 거짓된 믿음을 무엇으로 구분합니까? 간단합니다. 주님의 말씀을 실천하면 참 믿음이고, 실천하지 않으면 거짓 믿음입니다. 너희는 나를 불러 주여 주여 부르면서 어찌하여 나의 말을 행치 않느냐?

순종하기를 힘쓰면서 부족할 때마다 회개하십시오. 능력과 은사가 있고 없고, 지식이 많고 적음은 상관이 없습니다. 마음이 변화되면 그의 삶이 주님의 말씀을 따르게 되어 있습니다.

우선 된 순종은 죄를 회개하는 것입니다. 회개했으면 같은 죄를 범치 않기 위해 몸과 마음을 바치는 것입니다. 성령의 도움을 받기 위해 매달리는 것입니다. 한 발은 교회, 한 발은 세상을 딛고 천국에 가지 못합니다.

차지도 뜨겁지도 않기 때문에 주님이 토하십니다. 예수 믿고 성경을 받은 후에도 우리는 여전히 부족합니다. 이를 인정하고 항상 주님 편에 서기를 힘써야 합니다. 욕심과 교만이 싹틀 때마다 즉시 예수 이름으로 잘라내야 합니다.

인간 교리 믿고 미지근하게 살면 멸망합니다. 천국 들어갈 때까지 정신 차려야 합니다. 살아있는 믿음을 가지십시오. 움직이고 실천하는 믿음이 천국에 들어가는 믿음입니다. 교회만 다니고 주님 나라를 이루기 위해 아무것도 하지 않는 것은 죽은 믿음입니다.

이웃과 화평을 이루기 위해 자신을 양보하고 자존심을 좀 낮추십시오. 죄로 막혀있는 자가 무슨 응답을 받겠습니까? 회개하지 않는 자가 예언하고 은사 능력을 행하는 것 다 가짜이며 사탄에 속한 것입니다.

주님과 소통하는 자가 주님의 은혜와 구원을 받습니다. 주님과 소통은 회개와 순종입니다. 하나씩 순종하십시오. 순종의 범위가 넓어집니다. 그리스도의 장성한 분량까지 닮는 것을 목표하십시오. 믿음의 전진을 이루던 중에 천국에 가는 것입니다.

야고보서 2장 17절에 "이와 같이 행함이 없는 믿음은 그 자체가 죽은 것이라" 하셨습니다.

행함이 없으면 죽은 믿음입니다. 죽은 자는 움직이지 않습니다. 죽은 믿음은 말씀에 순종하지 않고 죄를 회개치 않습니다. 오직 육신의 정욕을 이루기 위해 움직일 뿐입니다. 교회는 다니지만 삶 속에서는 세상일이 우선인 자들은 사탄의 종으로 사는 것입니다. 사탄의 종은 사탄의 나라인 지옥에 가고, 하나님의 종은 하나님 나라 천국에 가는 것입니다.

야고보서 1장 22절에 "너희는 도를 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라" 하셨습니다.

하나님의 도는 인간을 구원하는 길입니다. 구원의 말씀을 듣기만 하고 행치 않는 것은 하나님의 도를 떠난 것입니다. 도를 행하십시오. 이는 주님의 말씀에 순종하는 것입니다.

하나님 외에 다른 신을 섬기지 말고, 이웃의 허물을 용서하며 악한 생각을 버리고 선을 행해야 합니다. 성경 전체는 하나님의 도를 가르칩니다. 도의 핵심은 우상을 버리고 하나님의 나라와 의를 이루며 사는 것입니다.

그러나 죄성을 가진 인간들이 이를 온전히 이루지 못합니다. 그래서 항상 회개하고 예수 피로 부족함을 용서받으라는 것입니다. 하나님의 도는 하나님을 섬기는 방법이고 인간을 구원하는 방법입니다.

지식으로만 알지 말고 아는 것을 실천하십시오. 하나님의 도를 행하는 자는 살고 행치 않는 자는 죽습니다. 이는 회개하면 살고 회개치 않으면 죽는다는 뜻입니다. 진정으로 회개한 자는 혼신을 다해 순종하는 자입니다.

요한복음 14장 15절에 "너희가 나를 사랑하면 나의 계명을 지키리라" 하셨습니다.

예수를 사랑하는 자는 예수님의 계명을 귀중히 여기며, 그 계명을 지키는 것이 곧 예수를 사랑하는 증거입니다. 남을 용서하고 선을 행하는 것이 싫어서 인간 생각대로 살아도 구원받는다는 인간 교리를 만들어 지키는 것이 과연 예수를 사랑하는 것입니까? 결코 아닙니다.

성경 말씀을 버리고 인간 교리를 따라가는 것은 사탄과 죄를 사랑하는 것입니다. 사랑의 계명을 따라 사는 것이 생명의 도를 지키는 것입니다. 인간 맘대로 살기 위해 거짓 신학자들이 인간 교리를 만들었습니다. 인간 교리는 하나님의 뜻을 거역하는 것입니다.

하나님의 계명을 지키는 자가 하나님을 사랑하는 것이고 그 결과로 하나님 나라에 들어가는 것입니다. 예수님의 계명을 지키지 않으면서 예수님을 사랑한다는 것은 성립되지 않는 말입니다.

요한복음 15장 10절에 "내가 아버지의 계명을 지켜 그의 사랑 안에 거하는 것 같이 너희도 내 계명을 지키면 내 사랑 안에 거하리라" 하셨습니다.

예수님은 인간의 육체를 입으신 하나님 자신입니다. 그 하나님이 인간의 육체를 입으셨다는 것은 스스로 환경의 지배 아래 들어오신 것입니다. 예수의 몸은 우리와 동일하게 목마르고 배고프고 춥고 덥고 힘드셨습니다.

십자가에 못 박히실 때 예수님의 몸은 너무나 고통스러웠으며, 그 고통은 인류의 고통을 대신한 것입니다. 예수님께서 이처럼 우리를 사랑하셨습니다. 우리는 주님의 사랑을 보면서 서로 용서하고 사랑해야 합니다.

이웃을 사랑하기 위해서는 자존심 버리고 자기 자신을 희생해야 합니다. 이웃을 위해 희생할 때 우리로 인해 세상에 평강과 화목이 이뤄집니다. 예수님의 계명을 지키는 곳에 하나님의 나라가 이뤄집니다.

요한일서 2장 3절에서 4절에 "우리가 그의 계명을 지키면 이로써 우리가 저를 아는 줄로 알 것이요 저를 아노라 하고 그의 계명을 지키지 아니하는 자는 거짓말하는 자요 진리가 그 속에 있지 아니하되"라 하셨습니다.

이웃을 용서하고 선을 행하라는 예수님의 계명을 지키는 자는 예수님을 아는 것입니다. 예수를 안다고 말하면서 그의 계명을 지키지 않는 것은 예수를 구원자로 알지 않는 것이며, 그의 고백은 가짜가 됩니다.

교회 가자마자 영접 기도 시키고 구원받았다고 선포하는 것은 거짓된 것입니다. 마음이 진정으로 예수를 구원자로 믿고 고백해야 합니다. 진정으로 주를 고백했다면 그때부터 주님의 말씀을 따라 사는 훈련에 들어가는 것입니다. 죽을 때까지 회개와 순종의 삶을 이루었을 때, 마지막 날 주님께서 믿음이 있다고 판단하실 때 천국에 들어가는 것입니다.

디도서 1장 16절에 "저희가 하나님을 시인하나 행위로는 부인하니 가증한 자요 복종치 아니하는 자요 모든 선한 일을 버리는 자니라" 하셨습니다.

입으로 주님을 찬양하고 영광 돌린다 하지만, 그 행위가 계명을 지키지 않고 회개하지 않는다면 이는 구원자 예수 그리스도를 부인하는 것입니다. 그의 고백은 가증한 것입니다. 그의 삶이 주님께 복종치 않고 모든 선한 일을 버리기 때문입니다.

선한 일을 행한 자는 생명의 부활로, 악한 일을 행한 자는 심판의 부활로 나오는 것입니다(요한복음 5:29).

히브리서 10장 26절에서 27절에 "우리가 진리를 아는 지식을 받은 후 짐짓 죄를 범한즉 다시 속죄하는 제사가 없고 오직 무서운 마음으로 심판을 기다리는 것과 대적하는 자를 소멸할 맹렬한 불만 있으리라" 하셨습니다.

하나님의 말씀을 깨달은 자가 고의적으로 죄를 짓고 회개치 않을 때 그는 구원받지 못합니다. 무서운 심판이 그를 기다립니다. 열심히 순종하십시오. 그래도 부족할 때가 많으니 그때마다 회개하십시오. 성경 말씀을 던져 버리고 인간 교리 믿고 자기 맘대로 살아가는 이런 자들에게는 맹렬한 심판의 불이 기다립니다.

갈라디아서 5장 19절에서 21절에 "육체의 일은 현저하니 곧 음행과 더러운 것과 호색과 우상 숭배와 술수와 원수를 맺는 것과 분쟁과 시기와 분냄과 당 짓는 것과 분리함과 이단과 투기와 술 취함과 방탕함과 또 그와 같은 것들이라 전에 너희에게 경계한 것 같이 경계하노니 이런 일을 하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 것이요"라 하셨습니다.

육체가 하는 일은 현저합니다. 음행하고, 우상숭배하고, 술수 부리고, 자기 욕심 따라 분쟁합니다. 이런 것을 행하고 회개치 않으면 천국에 갈 수 없습니다. 교회 안에서 편 가르고 당짓지 마십시오. 술 취하지 마십시오. 이런 짓은 멸망합니다.

큰 교회 안에 여러 파당이 있고 서로 반목하는 것은 주님의 말씀을 대적하는 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀을 대적한 자들이 어떻게 천국에 가겠습니까?

고린도전서 6장 9절에서 10절에 "불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못할 줄을 알지 못하느냐 미혹을 받지 말라 음란하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자나 도적이나 탐욕을 부리는 자나 술 취하는 자나 후욕하는 자나 토색하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하리라" 하셨습니다.

불의한 자는 천국에 가지 못합니다. 동성애는 불의한 것입니다. 도적질 하지 마십시오. 토색하지 마십시오. 토색은 높은 지위를 이용해 자기보다 약한 자의 것을 갈취하는 것입니다. 삼성전자 노조 행위가 토색한 것입니다.

요한계시록 3장 1절에서 2절에 "사데 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 하나님의 일곱 영과 일곱 별을 가진 이가 가라사대 내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 살았다 하는 이름은 가졌으나 죽은 자로다 너는 일깨워 그 남은 바 죽게 된 것을 굳게 하라 내 하나님 앞에 네 행위의 온전한 것을 찾지 못하였노니"라 하셨습니다.

살았다는 이름을 가졌으나 죽은 자라는 뜻은, 하나님을 믿는 것 같으나 하나님을 믿지 않는다는 것입니다. 교회 다니지만 주님의 말씀에 불순종하고 회개치 않는 것입니다. 신앙생활 하는 것 같은데 진실한 순종과 회개가 없는 것입니다. 주님께서 그로부터 온전한 것을 찾을 수 없으십니다.

요한계시록 22장 14절에서 15절에 "그 두루마기를 빠는 자들은 복이 있으니 이는 저희가 생명 나무에 나아가며 문들을 통하여 성에 들어갈 권세를 얻으려 함이로다 개들과 술객들과 행음자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 및 거짓말을 좋아하며 지어내는 자마다 성 밖에 있으리라" 하셨습니다.

거짓말하는 자마다 천국 예루살렘 밖에 있습니다. 이는 지옥을 뜻합니다. 최대의 거짓말은 인간 교리입니다. 성경 말씀을 그대로 믿지 않고 왜곡하는 것입니다. 성경은 순종하고 회개하라, 그래야 천국에 간다고 합니다.

인간 교리는 그렇게 할 필요 없고, 한 번 주를 고백했으면 천국에 가는 것이라 가르칩니다. 이런 거짓말하는 자들은 천국에 갈 수 없습니다. 교회 키우고 교인 수 늘리기 위해 손쉬운 인간 교리 가르치는 이런 목사와 교인들 모두 지옥에 갑니다.

마태복음 3장 8절에서 10절에 "그러므로 회개에 합당한 열매를 맺고 속으로 아브라함이 우리 조상이라고 생각지 말라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 하나님이 능히 이 돌들로도 아브라함의 자손이 되게 하시리라 이미 도끼가 나무 뿌리에 놓였으니 좋은 열매 맺지 아니하는 나무마다 찍혀 불에 던지우리라" 하셨습니다.

회개에 합당한 열매를 맺으십시오. 이는 한 번 죄를 회개했으면 그 죄를 반복해 짓지 않도록 노력하라는 뜻입니다. 아브라함 자손이라고 자랑치 마십시오. 도끼가 나무 뿌리에 놓였습니다.

이는 교회 다니는 것 자랑치 말고, 주님의 말씀에 불순종하고 회개치 않는 교인들은 다 하나님의 심판을 받는다는 것입니다. 예수 한 번 고백한 것으로 구원받는 것 아닙니다. 예수님의 말씀에 순종해야 합니다. 모든 죄를 회개해야 합니다.

누가복음 13장 24절에서 25절에 "좁은 문으로 들어가기를 힘쓰라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 들어가기를 구하여도 못하는 자가 많으리라 집 주인이 일어나 문을 한번 닫은 후에 너희가 밖에 서서 문을 두드리며 주여 열어 주소서 하면 저가 대답하여 가로되 나는 너희가 어디로서 온 자인지 알지 못하노라 하리니" 하셨습니다.

좁은 문으로 들어가기를 힘쓰라는 것은 곧 순종하기를 힘쓰라는 것입니다. 많은 자들이 천국 가려고 교회 다니지만 못 가는 자들이 많으리라 하셨습니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 인간 교리 믿고 회개와 순종의 삶을 버리기 때문입니다.

주님 재림하실 때 알곡 신자들은 들려 올라가고 쭉정이 신자들은 세상에 남습니다. 그들이 통곡하며 말합니다. "주여, 저도 예수 믿었으니 천국 데려가 주세요." 그러나 주님은 "나는 너를 모른다" 하십니다.

계시록 13장 26절에서 27절에 "그 때에 너희가 말하되 우리는 주 앞에서 먹고 마셨으며 주는 또한 우리 길거리에서 가르치셨나이다 하나 저가 너희에게 일러 가로되 나는 너희가 어디로서 왔는지 알지 못하노라 행악하는 모든 자들아 나를 떠나 가라 하리라" 하셨습니다.

주님께서 천국에 들어가지 못한 교인들에게 말씀하십니다. 행악하는 자들아 나를 떠나라. 사랑의 계명을 지키지 않은 교인들이 마지막 날 주님께 버림받습니다. 일평생 교회 다녔으나 불순종하고 회개치 않았더니 지옥에 가는 것입니다.

Luke 6:46 says, "Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I tell you?"

Although the Bible says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, we must understand this verse correctly. It is not enough to simply call out "Lord, Lord" with our lips. Calling on the name of the Lord means following and obeying His word.

However, because many churches do not teach according to the Bible, countless believers are living a formalistic Christian life and heading to hell. To truly call on the name of Jesus is to live according to His word. There are too many believers who habitually praise the name of Jesus without believing in their hearts.

How do we distinguish between true faith and false faith? It is simple. If you practice the Lord's word, it is true faith; if you do not, it is false faith. Why do you call me "Lord, Lord" and yet not do what I say?

Strive to obey, and whenever you fall short, repent. Whether or not you have gifts or abilities, or much or little knowledge, does not matter. When the heart is changed, the life naturally follows the Lord's word.

The primary obedience is to repent of sin. Once you have repented, you must dedicate your body and mind not to commit the same sin again. You must cling to the help of the Holy Spirit. You cannot go to heaven with one foot in the church and the other in the world.

Because you are neither cold nor hot, the Lord will spit you out. Even after believing in Jesus and receiving the Bible, we are still inadequate. We must acknowledge this and strive to stand on the Lord's side at all times. Whenever greed and pride sprout, you must immediately cut them off in the name of Jesus.

If you live lukewarmly, believing in human doctrines, you will perish. You must stay alert until you enter heaven. Possess a living faith. A faith that moves and practices is the faith that enters heaven. It is a dead faith to just attend church and do nothing to establish the Lord's kingdom.

Yield yourself and lower your pride to achieve peace with your neighbor. What kind of answer will someone who is blocked by sin receive? Those who do not repent but perform prophecies or exercise gifts are all fake and belong to Satan.

Those who communicate with the Lord receive His grace and salvation. Communication with the Lord is repentance and obedience. Obey one by one; your scope of obedience will expand. Aim to become like the full stature of Christ. You enter heaven while advancing in faith.

James 2:17 says, "So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

If there are no works, it is a dead faith. The dead do not move. A dead faith does not obey the word and does not repent of sin. It only moves to fulfill the desires of the flesh. Those who attend church but prioritize worldly affairs in their lives are living as slaves to Satan. Slaves to Satan go to hell, the kingdom of Satan, and servants of God go to heaven, the kingdom of God.

James 1:22 says, "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."

God's way is the path that saves humanity. To only hear the word of salvation and not act upon it is to depart from God's way. Do the word. This means obeying the Lord's command.

You must not serve any other god but God, forgive your neighbor's faults, forsake evil thoughts, and do good. The entire Bible teaches God's way. The core of this way is to forsake idols and live to fulfill the kingdom and righteousness of God.

However, humans with a sinful nature cannot fully achieve this. That is why we must always repent and be forgiven of our shortcomings through the blood of Jesus. God's way is the method of serving God and the method of saving humanity.

Do not just know it as knowledge; practice what you know. Those who do God's way live, and those who do not, die. This means if you repent, you live, and if you do not repent, you die. Those who truly repent are those who obey with all their might.

John 14:15 says, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

Those who love Jesus cherish His commandments. Keeping Jesus' commandments is the proof that you love Him. Is it really loving Jesus to create and follow human doctrines—which say we can be saved even if we live according to our own thoughts because we dislike forgiving others and doing good? Absolutely not.

Forsaking the Bible to follow human doctrines is loving Satan and sin. Living according to the commandment of love is keeping the way of life. False theologians created human doctrines to live as they please. Human doctrines defy the will of God.

Those who keep God's commandments are those who love God, and as a result, they enter the kingdom of God. It is a contradiction to say you love Jesus while not keeping His commandments.

John 15:10 says, "If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love."

Jesus is God Himself who took on human flesh. The fact that God took on human flesh means He voluntarily placed Himself under the control of the environment. Jesus' body was just like ours—thirsty, hungry, cold, hot, and weary.

When He was crucified, Jesus' body suffered immensely, and that suffering was a substitute for the suffering of humanity. Jesus loved us like this. We must forgive and love one another while looking at the Lord's love.

To love your neighbor, you must forsake your pride and sacrifice yourself. When we sacrifice for our neighbors, peace and harmony are achieved in the world through us. Where the commandments of Jesus are kept, the kingdom of God is established.

1 John 2:3–4 says, "And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says 'I know him' but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

Those who keep Jesus' commandment to forgive neighbors and do good know Jesus. To say you know Jesus but not keep His commandments is not to know Him as Savior. Such a confession becomes fake.

Declaring someone saved by having them say a sinner's prayer right after entering the church is false. One must truly believe in and confess Jesus as Savior with their heart. Once you have truly confessed Him, you begin the training of living according to the Lord's word. Only when you live a life of repentance and obedience until death, and the Lord judges you to have faith on the last day, will you enter heaven.

Titus 1:16 says, "They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work."

They praise and give glory to the Lord with their mouths, but if their actions do not keep His commandments and do not repent, they are denying Jesus Christ as Savior. Their confession is detestable because their lives do not obey the Lord and they forsake all good works.

Those who have done good will come out to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment (John 5:29).

Hebrews 10:26–27 says, "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries."

When one who has understood the word of God deliberately sins and does not repent, they cannot be saved. A fearful judgment awaits them. Strive to obey. Even then, we fall short often, so repent each time. Those who throw away the Bible, believe in human doctrines, and live as they please face a furious fire of judgment.

Galatians 5:19–21 says, "Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

The works of the flesh are evident: committing sexual immorality, idolatry, sorcery, and fighting according to selfish greed. If you do these things and do not repent, you cannot go to heaven. Do not create factions or divisions within the church. Do not get drunk. Such acts lead to destruction.

There are various factions within large churches that harbor animosity toward one another; this is opposing the Lord's word. How can those who oppose the word of God go to heaven?

1 Corinthians 6:9–10 says, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

The unrighteous cannot go to heaven. Homosexuality is unrighteous. Do not steal. Do not swindle. Swindling is using a high position to extort from those weaker than oneself. The actions of the Samsung Electronics labor union are swindling.

Revelation 3:1–2 says, "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.’"

Having a reputation for being alive but being dead means appearing to believe in God but not actually believing. They attend church but do not obey the Lord's word and do not repent. It looks like they are living the Christian life, but there is no sincere obedience and repentance. The Lord cannot find anything complete in them.

Revelation 22:14–15 says, "Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood."

Everyone who practices falsehood is outside the heavenly Jerusalem. This means hell. The greatest falsehood is human doctrine. It is distorting the Bible instead of believing it as it is. The Bible says, "Repent and obey, then you will go to heaven." Human doctrine says, "You don't need to do that; once you confess the Lord, you are going to heaven." Those who speak such lies cannot go to heaven. Pastors and believers who teach easy human doctrines to grow their churches and increase the number of members will all go to hell.

Matthew 3:8–10 says, "Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."

Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. This means if you have repented of a sin, strive not to repeat it. Do not boast about being a descendant of Abraham. The axe is laid to the root of the tree. This means do not boast about attending church; believers who do not obey the Lord's word and do not repent will all face God's judgment. You are not saved by confessing Jesus just once. You must obey Jesus' words. You must repent of all sins.

Luke 13:24–25 says, "Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’"

Strive to enter through the narrow door means strive to obey. Many people attend church to go to heaven, but there will be many who cannot. Why? Because they believe in human doctrines and abandon a life of repentance and obedience. When the Lord returns, the wheat believers will be caught up, and the chaff believers will be left behind in the world. They will cry out in agony, "Lord, I also believed in Jesus, so take me to heaven!" But the Lord will say, "I do not know you."

Revelation 13:26–27 says, "Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’"

The Lord speaks to those believers who could not enter heaven. "Depart from me, all you workers of evil!" Believers who did not keep the commandment of love will be abandoned by the Lord on the last day. They attended church their whole lives but did not obey or repent, and thus they go to hell.
