The store, located on the corner of SH 130 and East Pflugerville Parkway, is 127,000 square feet.

Construction for the store started July 12. When completed, the new H-E-B will also feature a True Texas BBQ restaurant, pharmacy with a drive-thru, curbside and home delivery services, fuel station and car wash. Other amenities include:

• Deli
• Meat market and seafood center
• Wine and beer department
• Bakery and tortilleria

The project costs a total of $48 million, according to permit filings with Texas Department of License and Registration. The other two Pflugerville locations at Wells Branch Parkway and North FM 685 opened in 1987 and 2000, respectively.
