SALT LAKE CITY (July 23, 2008) –The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has acquired veteran point guard Brevin Knight from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for guard Jason Hart.

Originally selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (16th overall pick) of the 1997 NBA Draft, Knight (5-10, 170, Stanford) has appeared in 655 career regular season games (423 starts) over 11 NBA seasons with Cleveland, Atlanta, Memphis, Phoenix, Washington, Milwaukee, Charlotte and the Clippers, owning career averages of 7.9 points, 6.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.77 steals per game. He appeared in 74 games (39 starts) this past season with the Clippers, averaging 4.6 points, 4.4 assists and 1.35 steals in 22.6 minutes. Knight ranked second in the NBA in assists-per-turnover (4.62), and third in steals per turnover (2.87).

A native of Livingston, N.J., Knight attended Seton Hall Prep in East Orange, N.J., before playing four seasons at Stanford University (1993-97), where he was a First Team All-American as a senior and won the 1997 Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award as the nation’s most outstanding senior male collegian under six feet tall.

Knight also has his own foundation called Assist by Knight (assistbyknight.org), established in 2002, which focuses on life-enriching activities for disadvantaged youth.

Hart (6-3, 180, Syracuse) appeared in 57 games this past season for the Jazz, averaging 2.9 points, 1.5 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game. He has appeared in 297 career regular season games over seven NBA seasons with Milwaukee, San Antonio, Charlotte, Sacramento, the Clippers and Utah.

아 이거 좋네요 나이트가 키가 좀 작아서 그렇지 패스나 모든게 하트보단 낫겠죠 ㅋㅋㅋ

이거 좀 사기성 무브 같은데... 계약때문인가요..
어떻게 프라이스도 아닌 하트를 주고 나이트를 받아오지...
이거 대박인데요; 브래빈 나잇이 확실한 단점이 있는선수지만 그만큼 더 확실한 장점이 있는선수니 가비지때도 못나오는 하트보단 더욱더 많은 시간을 부여받을거 같습니다. 그래도 시즌초반은 일단 프라이스로 가겠죠.
하트 보다는 좋은 선수인데 잘 되었네요.
