The International School of Penang (Uplands) Year 7 students wrapped up Unit 2: Human Connections with a vibrant and heart-warming International Food Festival!

Through this unit, students explored how humans build connections through shared activities—within families, communities, and across cultures. To celebrate this learning, each student prepared a special dish representing their own cultural background, lovingly made together with someone meaningful at home.

Yesterday, our Year 7 classes came together to share their dishes, stories, and experiences, discovering the beauty of diversity and the joy of connecting through food. It was a wonderful celebration of identity, community, and global understanding
