7. 중남미 - 5 

지금으로부터 50년 전, 한국은 6·25전쟁을 치른 직후여서 지금의 아프리카나 제3국보다도 형편없던 나라였습니다. 그때가 우리 교회의 초창기였는데, 주로 교회의 식구들은 중고등학생이었습니다.

아버님은 그들을 통해서 농촌 계몽과 새마을운동을 전개하셨습니다. 또 장차 한국이 선진국의 대열에 들어서라면 기계산업이 중요하다는 것을 아시고 그것을 위한 준비로 많은 인재들을 길러내는 데 주력하였습니다.

지금은 한국이 선진국 못지않게 발전했습니다. 여러분이 어떻게 결심하느냐에 따라서 자메이카도 달라질 수 있다는 것입니다. 한 사람이 세상을 움직이고 바꿀 수 있습니다.

아버님 한 분이 세계를 바꿀 수 있는 바탕을 만들어 놓으셨는데, 그분으로 말미암아 참감람나무가 된 사람들이 전 세계에 얼마나 많아요? 이 나라에도 축복 가정들이 많습니다. 한사람이 아니라는 말입니다.

여러분이 어떻게 결심하느냐에 따라서 이 나라와 여러분의 종족이 하나님 앞에 복귀되는 시간이 결정됩니다. 이 나라를 보면서 왜 이런 천혜의 자연환경으로 스위스처럼 못 만들까 하고 생각했습니다.

내가 스위스에 가보고 그들의 조상들이 수고한 것을 알게 됐습니다. 그 당시에 조상들이 편안하게 산 것이 아니라 후손들을 위해서 힘든 과정을 거쳤기 때문에 그런 좋은 환경을 만들었다는 것입니다.

여기에 블루마운틴이라는 커피로 이름난 산이 있는데, 그 산이 아름다웠습니다. 스위스는 강대국들에 둘러싸여 있기 때문에 중립을 지키면서 부강한 나라로 키워 왔습니다.

그런데 여러분의 나라는 그런 제약을 받지 않습니다. 여러분이 마음을 어떻게 갖느냐에 따라서 여러분의 나라를 아름답고 부강한 나라로 만들 수 있는데, 지금까지 그것을 모르고 살았습니다. 여러분의 나라도 일등국이 될 수 있다는 희망을 품기 바랍니다.

중앙아메리카의 카리브해에 위치한 섬나라인 바하마는 1492년 콜럼버스가 신대륙을 발견해 최초로 상륙한 나라입니다. 그동안 에스파냐의 식민 지배를 받다 영국의 영토가 되었고 1973년 7월 독립했습니다.

약 700개의 섬으로 이루어진 바하마 제도에 천주평화연합 조국환원 대회를 개최하는 것은 하나님의 큰 축복이 아닐 수 없습니다.

이번에, 긴 순회 여정이었지만, 새로운 장소에서, 하나님이 오랫동안 준비한 사람을 만나는 기쁨을 맛보면서, 2006년 8월 4일, 바하마 나소에까지 오게 되었습니다.

이번에는 말씀을 전하고 축복 행사를 치르는 순회였지만 이곳 바하마가 하나님 앞에 다시금 설 수 있는 것은 이 말씀과 참부모님을 뜨겁게 받아들이는 길밖에 없습니다. 하나님의 축복이 바하마에 함께 하실 수 있도록 여러분이 열심히 활동할 것을 기대합니다.

今から50年前、韓国は朝鮮戦争直後の頃で、今のアフリカや第三国よりも思わしくない国でした。その時が私たちの教会の草創期でしたが、教会の食口たちは主に中高生でした。お父様は彼らを通して、農村啓蒙と「新しい村運動」を展開しました。

また将来韓国が先進国の隊列に加わるためには機械産業が重要であるということを御存じであったので、そのための準備として多くの人材の育成に力を注がれました。今、韓国は先進国に引けを取らないほど発展しました。皆さんがどのように決心するかによって、ジャマイカも変わり得るということです。

一人の人が世界を動かし、変えることができるのです。お父様お一人が、世界を変えられる土台をつくられましたが、その方によって真のオリーブの木になった人たちは、世界中にどれほど多いでしょうか。この国にも祝福家庭がたくさんいます。一人ではありません。

皆さんがどのように決心するかによって、この国と皆さんの氏族が神様の前に復帰される時間が決まるのです。この国を見ながら、なぜこのような天恵の自然環境をもちながら、スイスのようにつくれないのだろうかと考えました。私がスイスに行ったとき、彼らの先祖が苦労したことを知りました。

その当時、先祖たちは楽に暮らすのではなく、子孫のために大変な過程を経てきたので、あのような良い環境をつくることができたというのです。ここにブルーマウンテンというコーヒーで有名な山がありましたが、その山がとても美しかったです。

スイスは強大国に囲まれているので中立を守りながら富強国に成長しました。ところが皆さんの国はそのような制約がありません。皆さんがどのような心をもつかによって、皆さんの国を美しく、豊かで強い国にすることができるのに、今までそれを知らずに生きてきました。皆さんの国も一等国になることができるという希望をもってくれるよう願います。（2006.8.4、ジャマイカ、キングストン）


中央アメリカのカリブ海に位置する島国、バハマは、1492年にコロンブスが新大陸を発見し、最初に上陸した国です。その後、スペインに植民地支配されてから、イギリスの領土となり、1973年7月に独立しました。約700の島から成るバハマ諸島で、「天宙平和連合祖国還元大会」を開催することは、神様の大いなる祝福であるとしか言いようがありません。

この度、長い巡回旅程でしたが、新しい場所で、神様が長年の間準備された人に出会う喜びを感じながら、2006年8月4日、バハマのナツソーまで来ました。

今回は、み言を伝え、祝福行事を行う巡回でしたが、ここバハマが、神様の前に再び立つことができるのは、このみ言と真の父母様を熱烈的に受け入れる道しかありません。神様の祝福が、バハマに共にあることができるよう、皆さんが一生懸命に活動することを期待します。(2006.8.5、バハマ、ナッソー）

7. South and Central America - 5 

Fifty years ago, Korea was in a more difficult situation than Africa or other third-world countries are today because it was right after the Korean War. It was also the beginning time of our church, and most of the members were middle and high school students.

Through them, True Father carried out the enlightenment movement in the rural areas and the New Community Movement. Moreover, knowing that the machinery industry would play an important role in Korea's joining the ranks of the advanced nations, he also focused on training many talented individuals in preparation for that day.
 
Today's Korea is not inferior to any other advanced country. What I mean is that, depending on the resolutions you make, Jamaica can also change. One person can move and change the world.

True Father alone created the basis upon which the world can be changed; there are a great many people in the world who have been transformed into true olive trees through him, aren't there? There are many blessed families in this country as well. You are not alone.
 
The time it takes to restore your country and your tribes to God's side is determined by your resolve. I looked upon this country and wondered why it could not be like Switzerland, when its natural environment is just as beautiful.

When I went to Switzerland, I discovered that their ancestors had worked hard to make what they have today. While they were alive, the ancestors did not live in comfort; instead, they went through many difficulties for the sake of their descendants, and thus they created such a wonderful environment.
 
I also visited the Blue Mountains in this country, which are famous for their coffee, and they were so beautiful. Switzerland had to grow and prosper while observing neutrality because it is surrounded by powerful countries.

Your country, on the other hand, does not have such restrictions. You can make your country beautiful and prosperous through your own decisions, and yet you did not know that until now. I pray that you will cherish the hope that your country can become the number one nation in the world. (2006.08.04, Kingston, Jamaica)
 
The Bahamas, an island nation situated in the Caribbean Sea, in Central America, was the place where Columbus landed first when he discovered the new world in 1492.

It was under the rule of Spain and then became a British colony, and gained independence in July 1973. The fact that we are holding the Universal Peace Federation Rally to Return to the Original Fatherland and Hometown in the Bahamas, which is made up of more than 700 islands, is truly a great blessing from God.

Though it has been a long tour for me, I rejoiced in meeting people prepared for a long time by God in new places, and I finally arrived here in Nassau, Bahamas, on August 4, 2006.

This was a tour for delivering this message and performing the marriage Blessing ceremony and the only way for the Bahamas to stand in front of God again is to receive these teachings and True Parents with a passionate heart. I hope that you will all work hard, so that the blessings of God can be with the Bahamas. (2006.08.05, Nassau, Bahamas)
