Huge congratulations to Mariam (Year 12) for emerging as a prize winner at the prestigious British Society of Sports History (BSSH) Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). She has been invited to present her work at their summer conference in Belfast this August. Mariam’s topic “How can Belarusian folk dance be used to explore and represent the cultural traditions of Belarus?”, is a brilliant blend of academic research and creative flair. She developed a traditional folk dance choreography as her artefact, showcasing its cultural significance and meaning. Well done, Mariam - what an inspiring achievement!
