<P>Young Korean pilgrims on a newly opened path will be given an introduction to four major religions and see some famous cultural sites, all in the course of a three-day walk from July 28 to 31.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>As the 40 youngsters of various faiths walk the 250 kilometers of the Beautiful Pilgrimage Road, they will visit sites including Jeondong Catholic Church, Daiseong Won Buddhism Temple and Geumsansa Buddhist Temple.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>At each stop, they will be given a short talk on the life and peace activities of each religion and invited to ask questions and share their observations.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>“It’s a chance to get to know and understand each other’s religions and </P>
<P>develop interreligious dialogue from an early age,” said Agnes Cho Hyun-won of the Korean Conference on Religion and Peace, who organized the pilgrimage.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>This will be the 12th year in succession that the conference has arranged a pilgrimage for youths.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>Opened in Korea’s Jeollabuk-do province in October 2009, the Beautiful Pilgrimage Road is a joint project by various religions. “It’s a great example of interreligious cooperation,” said Cho.</P>
