20260208, 주일예배 Worship in BSBC

Bitter Springs Baptist Church에서 드린 뉴저지 방문 후 첫 예배.

떨어져있는 동안 양측 공히 많은 일들이 벌어졌고 벌어지고 있다.

좋기도 하고 궂기도 한 일들...

이런 가운데서 우리가 추구해야 할 목표, 재앙이 아니라 번영, 그리고 희망찬 미래, 언제나 바람직한 하나님의 축복이다. (렘 29:11)

하나님은 성경 곳곳에서 창세로부터 의도되고 설치된 하나님의 축복을 기억하게 해주신다.

요는, 하나님의 약속을 우리의 현실로 만들고 누리냐는 것.

어떻게 우리는 하나님과의 관계, 동료 인류와의 관계, 그리고 자타를 위한 우리의 사명을 통하여 주신 축복을 소유하고 누리고 나눌 수 있느냐는...

정말 기쁜 소식!

우리의 부재기간 동안 통상적 개인간증 대신 제공된 마태복음 읽기 자료를 자체적으로 6장부터 12장까지 나눴다는 것.

로마서에 이어 마태복음을 읽는 중인데 그 의도가 실현되고 있는 현장인 셈이다.

체질적으로 열악한 원주민교회의 강단을 돕기 위해 시작한 작업.

가장 기초적인 수준의 강해설교라고나 할까?

주어진 도움에 더하여 더 깊고 높은 과정으로 들어가는 것은 하나님께 맡길 각자의 몫.

First service in Biter Springs Baptist Church after our trip to New Jersey.

A lot has happened and is happening on both sides while we are apart.

Some good and some bad...

In the midst of the real life, the goal we must pursue is, not disaster, but prosperity, and a hopeful future, the unchanging blessings of God, which is desirable. (Jere. 29:11)

God reminds us time to time His blessings intended and installed from the creation.

The point is making God's promise our reality, and enjoying it.

How can we possess, enjoy, and share the blessings given through our relationship with God, our relationship with fellow human being, and our mission for ourselves and others...

The great news that we have heard!

During our absence, they shared the Chapters 6 to 12 of Matthew Read Through materials that I provided instead of the typical personal sharings.

We've done the Book of Romans and were reading the Gospel of Matthew.

It is an evidence of that my intension is pretty much doable in the local churches.

It is to help the pulpit ministry of the local churches which are pretty weak because of the current situation.

It might be the most basic level of expository preaching.

In addition to the help given, it is up to them to get into deeper and higher level of understanding within the sovereignty of God.
