Anne generously didn’t include the toughest question, “What is your PFE (Purpose of Existence)?,” but we must have thought about it once or twice while reading the book. As Soberas said, we are among the lucky ones, which may make the book resonate less with us. However, those who are in despair, going through a dark period in their lives, might find a clue, an answer, or some consolation in it.
I think we all liked the discussion about “energy vampires.” Whether it involves relationships with people, distractions from commercials or short videos, financial concerns, or expected role changes at work, we have now come to recognize these as personal traps. As Aoi's favorite quote from the book says, “Sometimes it helps to look at things from a different perspective.”
