Year 3 IPC Theme: From Cacao to Chocolate!

Our Year 3 students stepped back in time to explore the fascinating history of chocolate! As part of their IPC learning, they discovered how the Aztecs used cacao pods to make a traditional chocolate drink long before the chocolate we enjoy today.

To bring history to life, students designed their own DIY Aztec masks and recorded short presentations explaining the journey from cacao pods to chocolate. Through this activity, they connected history, creativity, and communication skills while confidently sharing what they learned.

It was wonderful to see our young historians expressing their ideas and understanding the rich cultural origins of chocolate!
