Honorable christian
Kagalang galang na Kristiyano
(Ps 16:1-4) A miktam of David. Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. 2) I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." 3) As for the christian who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight. 4) The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips.
This time, the title of “Honorable christian”.
There are 7.7 billion people living on this earth.
Nowadays, Christian is about 2.3 billion, 33% of the total population of the world.
Among them, except for Catholic and heresy, there are about 700 million pure Protestants in the world.
Protestants are 10 percents of the world's population.
They are truly precious.
sila ay tunay na mahalaga.
By the way, how many are more precious christian in God’s eye among the 700 million?
Broadly A christian means a person who believes in Jesus, but narrowly refers to a person who got out from the habit of sin.
The word "christian" here is called "kadosh" in Hebrew, which means "distinguished person."
The word ‘Kadosh’ was used to refer to the righteous person that God was trying to find in Sodom Castle.
So, the christian is a person who lives a holy life that is distinct from the pollution of sin.
In other words, a person who was in a state of death meets with Jesus and lives a holy life with the assurance of salvation.
Dear church members, are you a holy people of God?
What life do you live as saved one from death?
Are you living the life of a holy christian who is distinguished from the pollution of sin?
God seeks a righteous man who is distinguished from the pollution of sin on this earth like Sodom.
And God rejoice about the christian who are distinguished from the pollution of sin.
Jesus said in Luke 15: 7.
(Lk 15:7) I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
The holy christian, even in the world of sin, are not stained with sin, and they are sensibel and well up to their mission like Noah the righteous man.
Then, what kind of christian is the honorable?
1. A honorable christian is those who only believe in Jesus.
(Ps 16:1-2) “A miktam of David. Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2) I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
(Ps 16:1-2) A miktam of David. Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. 2) I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
This is David's earnest appeal to God’s salvation.
In this verse, We can see how difficult situation David is in.
Among these hardships, David could only trust God.
Now Corona virus is attacking us all over the world.
But there is only God we can trust and rely on.
ngunit meron Panginoon na mapagkakatiwalaan natin na makakasama natin.
We must confess like David did,“You are my Lord, and there is no blessing outside of you. We must live our lives toward you. Amen.”
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1: 9.
sabi ni pablo sa 2 Corinto 1:9.
(2Co 1:9) Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.
고후
In this suffering, only faith in Jesus is created.
There are many people on this earth, but those who believe in Jesus are precious, and those who believe only in Jesus are the most honorable.
Because they are children of God.
dahil tayo ay anak ng Diyos.
Tragedy of this earth is the disappearance of the confession of only faith in Jesus.
There are claims that there are many ways of salvation other than Jesus.
That's religious pluralism theology.
ang relihiyong iyon ay teolohiya ng pluralismo.
In order for religious pluralism to be established, there must be evidence that the god of heterotropic religion is real god.
Also, it must be proved that the religion gives sufficient salvation and lack of nothing.
But their claim dose not prove that all.
ngunit hindi nila ito napatunayan.
Dear brothers and sisters, those who have a clear confession of “Only Jesus” can be saved.
There is no salvation through other gods.
walang kaligtasan sa pamamagitan ng ibang diyos.
Now, the world is struggling with various heresies.
ngaon ang mundo ay nakakaranas ng virus.
The world is full of defiled truth due to various heresies.
The heresies say, "I am Jesus, Christ, and the Savior."
But, Acts 4:12 says.
ngunit sabi sa Gawa4:12
(Act 4:12) Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
God has never given us another name for salvation.
The only name way to salvation is“Jesus of Nazareth”.
When Abraham was in Mesopotamia, the people in there served moon god.
Mohammet edited the Bible story based on this moon god and create new religion.
So even today, Islam’s symbol is a crescent moon.
There are many religions in the world.
maraming relihiyon sa mundong ito.
However, people cannot be saved through such religion.
Therefore, you should not be deceived by it.
kaya huwag tayo papasakop sa mga iyon.
In Deuteronomy 4:19 warns about this.
sa Deuteronimio 4:19 nagbabala ng ganito.
(Dt 4:19) And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars--all the heavenly array--do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.
Deuteronomy 17: 3-7 also warns:
Deuteronomio 17:3-7 nagbabala rin ng ganito.
(Dt 17:3-7 = 3) and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars of the sky, 4) and this has been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, 5) take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death. 6) On the testimony of two or three witnesses a man shall be put to death, but no one shall be put to death on the testimony of only one witness. 7) The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. You must purge the evil from among you.
God spoke to the Israelites in Moses' Era.
“If any of among Israel serve the moon god or idol, let two or three men testify and throw him stone to death.”
Have any of you worships the moon god or the idol?
The Bible tells him to kill him with a stone.
If there is anyone who is close to idols or other religions, please repent.
Now we believe in the Creator God as the only true God.
also we believe in his only son our Lord Jesus Christ, as the only Savior.
Believers of this faith are honorable.
Also, those who deliver him are more precious believers.
Everyone, keep this faith to the end.
2. A phonorable christian is a person who worships God.
John 4:23 says.
sabi sa Juan 4:23.
(John 4:23) Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
If you worship God every day, it is a treasure among treasures on this earth.
How happy would God be if our worship was the full of the glory of the Holy Spirit like at the attic of Mark and John?
If we succeed in such worship, you will change, everyone will change, and the country will change.
Those who worship God should not give offerings to other gods.
If there is such a person, suffering will be add to his life.
Therefore, those who worship God must make the decision to forbid the blood offerings offered by the Barbarians, and should not to call the name of the god of the Barbarians with their lips.
Ps16:4 The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips.
This verse means not to worship the idols of the world, but to only worship God.
What you can see here is that God honors you if you worship well.
Therefore, let's worship in the church and live hymnally before God in our daily life.
This kind of person is a real treasure of heaven.
3. A honorable christian is a person who lives by faith.
(Heb 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
The only thing that pleases God is faith.
We cannot make happy God without faith.
Those who come to God must believe that He is existing and that He rewards those who seek Him.
God was rejoiced to those who had this faith, and through them God worked.
(Heb 11:1) Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
(Heb 11:2) This is what the ancients were commended for.
(Heb 11:7) By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
(Heb 11:8) By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.
Even though it is very dark now, hope you happy with the faith and live brightly like the sun.

I hope that the power of the Gospel will be applied to your life and let the fragrance of Christ to be overflow.

So, Hebrews 12: 1-3 says,
sabi sa Hebreo 12:1-3;
(Heb 12:1-3) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3) Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Dear christian! Let's look at Jesus, the main and perfector of faith.
Jesus endured the suffering of the cross for the joy before him.
He was not ashamed of the suffering and death of the cross.
