....... Falcon

As I review your boat, my opinion is it will work fine on your boat. I have a customer ( Austin Reed of North Carolina ( austinreed0090@gmail.com )) with a 3950mm boat that is very similar to yours that has a 1.3 square meter falcon sail on it.
A 1.0 meter falcon sail would even be easier to find room for. Though the 1.3 meter sail is fine. Specifically
his boat is a Pelican Apex 130T. It is known as a very inexpensive poorly made boat, and it has performed very well according to Austin.
If you email him he can report to you what he knows.
We have some options that can make things even better as we continue to develop and improve our rigs.
See the attached picture of Austin's boat with the 1.3 meter sail.
After a few outings, he started planning trips around kayak sailing with this boat and sail rig.
He told me he had no problem sailing it up wind and it did very well with 2 people on the boat.
At the very end of this email is a testimonial he wrote about Falcon Sails.
You can see pictures of various boats on this web page with Falcon Sails attached.
All these are owned by customers that are very happy with their sails. They reported good performance.
Some of these boats are very short.
The boat I sent a picture of to you earlier today was 4100mm long and this customer is very happy also.
A longer boat is nicer in some ways, but not in all ways. Additionally length is not much of a issue anyway. It helps keep the sail out of your way, but people manage fine by leaning up wind, and or lowering their head and raising the boom when necessary.
You see many pictures of long boats on our website, because that is the kind of boat we have used for years. Our choice of boat is due to our love of sea kayaking, not berceuse these boats are better for sailing. As a matter of fact people you have paddle sailed long narrow boats and the shorter wide boats tell me they like the short wide boats better.
Good luck in your decision.
If you think you will like kayak sailing, you will love kayak sailing.
I am sure it is obvious to you that I would love to sell and make a sail rig for you. If you order a sail, I will personally make it for you and I will do everything I can to make it work great for you.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to explain why I think our rigs are so good.
