The Chalcedonian Creed
이제 우리는 거룩한 信仰의 어버이들을 따라서 모두의 一致된 合意를 通해 한 분이시고 聖子와 同一하시며 우리의 主님이신 예수 그리스도에 對해 올바른 認識을 가지도록 聖徒들을 가르치고자 합니다.
Therefore, following the holy fathers, we all with one accord teach men to acknowledge one and the same Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
Sequentes igitur sanctos patres, unum eundemque confiteri Filium et Dominum nostrum Jesum Christum consonanter omnes docemus,
Ἑπόμενοι τοίνυν τοῖς ἁγίοις πατράσιν ἕνα καὶ τὸν αὐτὸν ὁμολογεῖν υἱὸν τὸν κύριον ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦν Χριστὸν συμφώνως ἅπαντες ἐκδιδάσκομεν,
예수 그리스도께서는 完璧한 神性과 完璧한 人性을 同時에 품고 계시므로 참 하나님이시면서 참 사람이십니다. 예수 그리스도께서는 참 사람으로서 理性的인 靈魂과 肉體를 가지고 계십니다.
at once complete in Godhead and complete in manhood, truly God and truly man, consisting also of a reasonable soul and body;
eundem perfectum in deitate et eundem perfectum in humanitate; Deum verum et hominem verum eundem ex anima rationali et corpore;
τέλειον τὸν αὐτὸν ἐν θεότητι καὶ τέλειον τὸν αὐτὸν ἐν ἀνθρωπότητι, θεὸν ἀληθῶς καὶ ἄνθρωπον ἀληθῶς τὸν αὐτὸν, ἐκ ψυχῆς λογικῆς καὶ σώματος, ὁμοούσιον
예수 그리스도께서는 하나님으로서는 聖父의 單一한 神的 本質을 가지시며 同時에 사람으로서는 우리와 同一한 사람의 本質을 가지고 계십니다. 사람으로서는 우리와 모든 面에서 同一하시나 但只 罪는 없으십니다.
of one substance with the Father as regards his Godhead, and at the same time of one substance with us as regards his manhood; like us in all respects, apart from sin;
consubstantialem Patri secundum deitatem, consubstantialem nobis eundem secundum humanitatem; 'per omnia nobis similem, absque peccato' (Heb. iv.):
τῷ πατρὶ κατὰ τὴν θεότητα, καὶ ὁμοούσιον τὸν αὐτὸν ἡμῖν κατὰ τὴν ἀνθρωπότητα, κατὰ πάντα ὅμοιον ἡμῖν χωρὶς ἁμαρτίας·
예수 그리스도께서는 하나님으로서는 永遠 前에 聖父께로부터 스스로 태어나셨으나 사람으로서는 우리와 우리의 救援을 爲해 童貞女 마리아에게 孕胎되어 태어나셨습니다. 때문에 童貞女 마리아는 ‘하나님을 孕胎한 女子’라 불립니다.
as regards his Godhead, begotten of the Father before the ages, but yet as regards his manhood begotten, for us men and for our salvation, of Mary the Virgin, the God-bearer;
ante secula quidem de Patre genitum secundum deitatem; in novissimis autem diebus eundem propter nos et propter nostram salutem ex Maria virgine, Dei genitrice secundum humanitatem;
πρὸ αἰώνων μὲν ἐκ τοῦ πατρὸς γεννηθέντα κατὰ τὴν θεότητα, ἐπ᾽ ἐσχάτων δὲ τῶν ἡμερῶν τὸν αὐτὸν δἰ ἡμᾶς καὶ διὰ τὴν ἡμετέραν σωτηρίαν ἐκ Μαρίας τῆς παρθένου τῆς θεοτόκου κατὰ τὴν ἀνθρωπότητα,
예수 그리스도께서는 聖子이시고 主님이시며 唯一하신 獨生子이시나 同一하신 한 분이십니다. 그분의 두 本性인 神性과 人性은 섞이지도 바뀌지도 나뉘지도 떨어지지도 않으심을 알 수 있습니다.
one and the same Christ, Son, Lord, Only-begotten, recognized in two natures, without confusion, without change, without division, without separation;
unum eundemque Christum, filium, Dominum, unigenitum, in duabus naturis inconfuse, immutabiliter, indivise, inseparabiliter agnoscendum:
ἕνα καὶ τὸν αὐτὸν Χριστόν, υἱόν, κύριον, μονογενῆ, ἐκ δύο φύσεων [ἐν δύο φύσεσιν], ἀσυγχύτως, ἀτρέπτως, ἀδιαιρέτως, ἀχωρίστως γνωριζόμενον·
예수 그리스도의 神性과 人性은 相互聯合을 이루신다고 해서 絶對 區別이 無意味해지는 것이 아니라 도리어 各 本性이 保存되십니다. 예수 그리스도의 神性과 人性은 함께 더불어서 예수 그리스도라는 한 분의 人格과 本質을 形成하십니다. 이는 하나님이신 그리스도와 사람이신 그리스도 두 분으로 나뉘시거나 分割되시는 것이 아니라, 聖子이시고 獨生하신 하나님의 말씀이신 분께서 主 예수 그리스도와 同一하게 한 분이신 것입니다.
the distinction of natures being in no way annulled by the union, but rather the characteristics of each nature being preserved and coming together to form one person and subsistence, not as parted or separated into two persons, but one and the same Son and Only-begotten God the Word, Lord Jesus Christ;
nusquam sublata differentia naturarum propter unitionem, magisque salva proprietate utriusque naturæ, et in unam personam atque subsistentiam concurrente: non in duos personas partitum aut divisum, sed unum eundemque Filium et unigenitum, Deum verbum, Dominum Jesum Christum;
οὐδαμοῦ τῆς τῶν φύσεων διαφορᾶς ἀνῃρημένης διὰ τὴν ἕνωσιν, σωζομένης δὲ μᾶλλον τῆς ἰδιότητος ἑκατέρας φύσεως καὶ εἰς ἓν πρόσωπον καὶ μίαν ὑπὸστασιν συντρεχούσης, οὐκ εἰς δύο πρόσωπα μεριζόμενον ἢ διαιρούμενον, ἀλλ᾽ ἕνα καὶ τὸν αὐτὸν υἱὸν καὶ μονογενῆ, θεὸν λόγον, κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν·
舊約時代의 先知者들은 예수 그리스도에 對해 豫言해왔고, 우리의 主님이신 예수 그리스도께서 스스로에 對해 우리를 가르치셨으며, 信仰의 어버이들의 信仰告白이 우리에게 傳授되었습니다.
even as the prophets from earliest times spoke of him, and our Lord Jesus Christ himself taught us, and the creed of the fathers has handed down to us.
sicut ante prophetæ de eo et ipse nos Jesus Christus erudivit et patrum nobis symbolum tradidit.
καθάπερ ἄνωθεν οἱ προφῆται περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ αὐτὸς ἡμᾶς ὁ κύριος Ιησοῦς Χριστὸς ἐξεπαίδευσε καὶ τὸ τῶν πατέρων ἡμῖν καραδέδωκε σύμβολον.
