참부모님 성혼식은 구원섭리사의 전환점

1960년 4월 11일에 거행된 참부모님 양위분의 성혼식은 탕감복귀역사에서 장성기 완성급의 탕감고개를 넘어서는 역사적인 순간이었습니다. 참부모님의 성혼식은 세계적이고 천주사적인 사건입니다. 기나긴 섭리사의 기반 위에 완성한 아담으로 오신 참아버님은 지상에서의 섭리기반을 닦으신 뒤 해와인 참어머님을 맞이하셨다. 하늘 대신인 참아버님, 땅 대신인 참어머님께서 하나되어 갈라진 하늘과 땅을 비로소 연결할 수 있게 되었다. 아담 해와가 타락하여 서로 원수가 되고 하나님과 단절되게 했던 담이 무너지게 되는 구원섭리사의 역사적인 전환점을 맞이하게 된 것이다.

13 ‘역사는 1960년대부터 대변천시대로 들어갔다.’고 역사가들은 말합니다. 통일원리를 중심삼고 말한다면 ‘1960년대에 하나님의 이름을 중심삼고 지상이 모든 어려움을 헤치고, 기독교문화권이 모든 것에 실패하고 그 기지가 될 수 있는 한국이 반대하는 환경에도 불구하고 비로소 이 땅 위에 하나님과 참부모님의 이름을 중심삼고 성혼식을 한 거기에서부터 역사는 새로운 방향으로 변하게 됐다.’고 할 수 있습니다. 변화하는 그 역사의 환경이 사망세계로 점점 떨어져 내려가 인류가 분열되어서 파탄의 세계로 가는 것 같지만, 변화하는 역사시대는 점점 서로 다른 지역적 환경을 넘어서 세계로 가는 시대로 급변해 간다는 것입니다. 하나님과 더불어 부모님의 혈족을 중심삼고 횡적으로 확대해야 될 섭리시대를 맞이하여 사상의 혼란이 오고 전통의 혼란이 일어납니다. 흔들어 놓는 것입니다. 기독교도 전부 흔들어 놓는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 해방 후 14년이 될 때까지 한국 기독교 자체로 보면 재건교회나 신사참배를 한 교회나 마찬가지였습니다. 거기에서부터 한국을 중심삼고 세계를 향하여 도약할 수 있는 하나님의 섭리의 길이 트이기 시작하는 것입니다. 그 시발점이 바로 1960년 4월의 성혼식이었습니다. 이 성혼식을 하고 부모의 날이 설정됨으로써 비로소 인류역사에 있어서 거짓 부모로부터 더럽혀진 사랑과 생명과 혈통을 이어받았던 것을 청산하고 하나님을 중심삼은 본연의 새로운 사랑과 생명과 혈통의 인연이 이 지상에 뿌리를 박기 시작했다는 것입니다. 이 세계는 지금까지 타락된 천사장의 핏줄을 이어 왔지만 1960년대에 부모님이 생겨난 그날부터는 본연의 아담 해와의 핏줄이 하나님의 사랑을 중심삼고 뿌리를 박기 시작했다는 것입니다.

14 복귀섭리에 있어서 최고점, 정점은 1960년이었습니다. 그때 아버님은 국가와 국민, 모든 교회, 그리고 모든 사람들로부터 핍박을 받았습니다. 그 당시에 죽느냐 사느냐를 결정하지 않으면 안 되는 절박한 처지에 있었습니다. 통일교회가 살아남느냐 망하느냐 하는 갈림길에 있었습니다. 그 어려움을 뚫고 나가면서 성혼식을 거행했습니다. 그 시점에서 새 역사가 출발하였습니다. 그때는 역사의 전환점이었습니다. 많은 역사가들도 1960년은 역사의 전환점이었다고 말하고 있습니다. 그때부터 모든 문제를 풀어 나가기 시작했습니다.

15 부모님이 성혼한 1960년 4월 11일, 그날은 외적으로 보면 평범한 날이지 별다른 것이 없었습니다. 그러나 그날 성혼식을 한 것이 다른 날과 판이하게 다르다는 것입니다. 성혼식을 했기 때문에 이제 역사는 한 사람에 의해서 좌우되게 되었습니다. 그 한 사람이 나타날 때까지의 시간이 민족적이고 세계적인 인연을 갖춘 것이냐? 또 그 기간이 역사적인 인연을 거치고 시대적인 인연을 거치고 미래의 인연을 거칠 수 있는 기반이 되어 있느냐? 나타난 것은 간단해 보이지만 그것이 전체를 집약시킨 대표적인 핵이 될 때 역사는 그날을 연구하게 되는 것입니다.

16 인류의 조상 아담이 장성기 완성급에서 해와의 말을 들음으로써 주관권을 잃어버렸기 때문에 이것을 탕감복귀하기 위해서 예수님은 하나님의 사랑과 일치될 수 있는 완전한 인격을 갖춘, 창조목적을 완성할 수 있는 인간으로 와서 거기에 일치될 수 있는 하나의 여성을 찾아야 됩니다. 아담을 통하여 해와를 지었던 것과 마찬가지로 재창조의 순서를 거쳐 해와, 즉 신부를 세워 새로운 가정을 성립시켜야만 비로소 완성세계를 향하여 올라갈 수 있습니다. 이때가 바로 타락한 시대의 끝날이요 새로운 시대가 출발하는 때입니다. 이때가 1960년이었습니다. 오늘날 이 지구상에 참부모를 중심삼은 인연이 현현하였다는 것은 천주사적인 일이 아닐 수 없습니다.

17 하나님의 목적과 창조위업은 아담 해와가 축복을 받음으로써, 즉 성혼식을 함으로써 이루어집니다. 이러한 것을 이루기 위해 역사해 나오는 복귀과정을 생각해 볼 때 인류의 조상이 타락한 것은 장성기 완성급이기 때문에 오늘날의 인류는 이것을 다시 찾아 올라가야 합니다. 소생기는 종의 시대에 해당하는 것이요, 장성기는 양자의 시대에 해당하는 것이며, 완성기는 적자의 시대에 해당하는 것입니다. 따라서 종의 시대인 구약시대를 거쳐서 예수님의 복음이 이 땅 위에 나타남으로써 역사는 양자의 시대권으로 넘어가게 되었던 것입니다. 인류시조가 양자권인 장성기 완성급에서 타락했기 때문에 그 아들의 외적인 형태와 인연을 갖추어 다시 만들어서 장성기 완성급의 위치까지 올려놓아야 비로소 친자권을 상속할 수 있는 것입니다. 즉 인류 시조가 장성기 완성급에서 떨어졌기 때문에 이 장성기 완성급에 가야 복귀할 수 있다는 것입니다. 그런데 타락은 가정에서 비롯되었기 때문에 복귀하는 데에 있어서도 이 가정의 형태를 갖추지 않고서는 그 기준에 올라갈 수 없습니다. 그래서 통일교회에서는 1960년에 부모님을 중심삼고 그 기준을 넘어섰던 것입니다.

18 아버님은 개인적으로 영적인 세계에서 승리하였습니다. 그러기 위해 이 땅 위에서 모진 바람에 휩쓸리면서도 죽어서는 안 되겠다는 결심을 몇 천만 번이나 했는지 모릅니다. 원수를 만나는 고비마다 ‘내가 쓰러지면 안 된다. 내가 죽으면 안 된다. 내가 죽으면 이 뜻을 누가 세울 것이냐? 아무리 고생을 하더라도, 사지가 잘려 병신이 되어 누워 사는 한이 있더라도 내가 죽어서는 안 되겠다.’고 얼마나 마음속으로 다짐했는지 모릅니다. 이렇게 하면서 지금까지 어려운 길을 걸어 나왔습니다. 기반이 없는 상태에서 이름나는 것을 두려워합니다. 기반을 닦기 전에 이름이 날까 봐 두려워했습니다. 그런 경우에는 사탄의 공격이 있는 것이 원칙이기 때문입니다. 그러기에 죽지 않고 40고개를 넘어갈 날을 고대하며 세월이 빨리 지나가기만을 말없이 바랐습니다. 아브라함이 복귀의 기준을 세운 이후의 4천년 역사를 끝날에 40수를 세워서 넘어가야 함을 알고 40고개가 어서 넘어가기를 손꼽아 기다린 것입니다. 또 그것은 아버님의 숙원이었습니다. 천주 앞에 일신을 세워 놓고 죽지 않고 책임을 다하기 위해 몸부림치면서 지금까지 나온 것입니다.

19 하나님은 예수님을 4천년 만에 보내셨습니다. 예수님은 오랜 역사를 거쳐서 오신 분입니다. 태어나기야 어머니 뱃속을 통해서 10개월 만에 태어났겠지만 땅 위에 오시기 위해서 4천년 전부터 준비된 분이라는 것입니다. 그러한 역사적 인연을 지니고 나타났기 때문에 그때까지의 4천년 역사를 탕감할 수 있었던 것입니다. 40세 때에 예수님이 그런 역사적인 탕감을 했어야 되는데 유대민족의 불신으로 인해 그것을 하지 못했으므로 우리가 7년노정에서 탕감해야 됩니다. 여러분은 40일 복귀란 말을 배웠을 것입니다. 예수님이 40세 고비를 넘지 못하였으므로 우리에게 40대 고개를 바라보고 가야 할 노정이 남아 있습니다. 즉 그러한 탕감노정이 남아 있기에 다시 오시는 주님도 7년 대환란에 봉착할 수밖에 없습니다. 이런 원리적 근거가 있습니다.

20 1960년의 40고개를 어떻게 넘느냐? 원리가 가르쳐 주는 40고개를 어떻게 넘어야 하느냐? 예수님은 33세에 돌아가셨기 때문에 그 이후 40고개가 되는 7년을 넘지 못했습니다. 그리하여 인간세상에 7년 대환란이 남게 되었습니다. 그러니 이 고개를 어떻게 넘느냐 하는 것입니다. 이 고개를 넘기 위해서는 야곱이 거쳐 나간 복귀노정과 수많은 선조들의 엉클어진 탕감의 노정을 거슬러 올라가야 됩니다. 그 길에는 친구도 없고 동료도 없었습니다. 따르겠다고 하던 사람들은 가는 길 앞에 짐이 되었고 가시를 박아 놓았으며 돌짝밭을 만들어 놓았지 거기에서 도움이 된 사람은 한 사람도 없었습니다.

21 아버님 일대를 보면 40세까지는 개인 승리의 기준을 중심삼고 비로소 횡적인 기반으로 넘어가는 때였습니다. 지금까지 복귀역사의 목적이 아담 하나를 세우는 것이기 때문에 1960년대는 아담을 중심삼고 승리할 수 있는 기반을 닦는 때였습니다. 그 승리는 예수님이 실패했던 국가기준에서의 승리를 말합니다. 그러므로 1960년대의 통일교회는 예수님이 실패할 수밖에 없었던 운명권을 아버님의 나이 만 40세를 기준 삼고 실체적으로 탕감해 넘어가야 했습니다. 그런 과정에 있던 통일교회는 1960년대에 대단한 핍박을 받았습니다. 아버님이 용기가 없어서 하나님 앞에 인간으로서 선악을 분별한다는 결정적인 선서를 하지 못했다면 역사는 지연되었을 것입니다.

22 부모님의 성혼식은 지상에 있어서 기념할 만한 천주적 대사건이었습니다. 세계적 기준에 있어서 종적 탕감조건을 횡적으로 이 지상에서 해결하는 실체로서 영육 아울러 승리의 기준을 세운 것입니다. 아버님은 성혼식 전에 예수님이 세 제자, 반역한 그 제자를 복귀하지 않으면 안 되는 입장에 있었습니다. 성혼식의 목적이 아담 가정을 탕감하는 조건을 세우는 것입니다. 인간의 어버이인 아담과 해와는 부부관계에서 타락되었습니다. 타락이 부부를 통해 이루어졌기 때문에 복귀는 한 사람으로는 안 됩니다. 남자 혼자서는 복귀되지 않습니다. 여자 혼자서도 천국에 갈 수 없습니다. 따라서 두 사람이 해결해 나가지 않으면 안 됩니다. 타락한 아담 해와 입장을 복귀하여 참부모의 기준을 지상에서 세우지 않으면 안 됩니다. 세 제자의 약혼이라는 문제를 중심으로 해결하지 않으면 안 됩니다.

23 복귀는 아담 가정 복귀를 목표로 해서 하는 것입니다. 아담 가정이 실수하니 그 뜻이 노아 가정으로 옮겨졌습니다. 하나님은 노아 가정을 중심으로 하여 세계의 모든 사람들을 홍수심판으로 멸하고 사탄 침입의 조건을 넘어선 가정을 세워서 섭리의 기반을 지상에 구축해 놓으려고 하셨습니다. 그것이 아브라함, 이삭, 야곱, 모세에게 옮겨지고 예수님께로 이어져서 우리 시대까지 온 것이니까 그 모든 것을 탕감하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 아담 가정을 기준으로 하여 탕감하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 아담이 잃어버린 세 자식을 복귀하지 않고서는 참부모의 입장에 설 수 없습니다. 그래서 예수님은 세 제자가 꼭 필요한 것입니다. 그 세 사람은 아담 해와에게 있어서 세 천사장을 상징합니다. 세 천사장이 하나되어 아담 해와에게 복종하지 않았습니다. 모시지 않았습니다. 그 결과로 타락세계가 되었기 때문에 완성된 부모의 경지에 서기 위해서는 세 천사장격인 세 제자가 없어서는 안 됩니다. 재림주님도 완전히 복종하는 3명의 신앙의 자녀를 갖지 않으면 참부모 입장에 설 수 없는 것이 공식으로 되어 있습니다. 자기 생사의 경지를 넘어서 박해의 한 가운데도 따라가고 효도할 수 있는 3명의 제자를 갖지 않으면 안 됩니다. 아버님은 그러한 세 제자를 1960년 4월에 찾아 세웠습니다. 복귀노정은 거꾸로 찾아 올라가는 것이니까 축복은 자식의 입장에 서 있는 자가 먼저 받습니다. 가정권은 야곱의 가정이니까 12수의 기준을 기반으로 하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 3인의 제자, 3인의 자식을 중심으로 하고 그와 같은 기준을 통과하지 않으면 안 됩니다.

24 부모님이 1960년에 성혼식을 한 후에 성염을 만들었습니다. 참부모님이 타락한 세계의 물건을 대할 수 없기 때문입니다. 그것을 하나님의 아들, 하나님의 완성한 부모가 대할 수 없는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 전부 불살라 버려야 됩니다. 성염을 불태우는 조건으로서 택했기 때문에 이것을 뿌림으로써 사탄세계를 청산해 버리고 하늘 편이 취할 수 있는 조건적 방편적인 물건으로 사용할 수 있게 됩니다. 하늘나라가 설정되면 세상 나라의 모든 골동품, 세상 나라의 모든 물건을 그대로 쓸 수 없습니다.

真の父母の聖婚式は救援摂理史の転換点

一九六〇年四月十一日に挙行された真の父母様の聖婚式は、蕩減復帰歴史において、長成期完成級の蕩減の峠を越える歴史的な瞬間であった。真の父母様の聖婚式は、世界的で天宙史的な事件である。長い長い摂理史の基盤の上に、完成したアダムとして来られた真のお父様は、地上での摂理基盤を築いたのち、エバである真のお母様を迎えられた。天の代身である真のお父様と、地の代身である真のお母様が一つになり、分かれていた天と地が初めて連結されるようになった。アダムとエバが堕落して互いに怨讐となり、神様と断切させていた塀が崩れるようになる救援摂理史の歴史的転換点を迎えたのである。
 
 13 「歴史は、一九六〇年代から大変遷時代に入った」と歴史家たちは言います。「統一原理」を中心として言えば、「一九六〇年代に、神様の名を中心として地上のすべての困難をかき分け、キリスト教文化圏がすべて失敗し、その基地となる韓国が反対する環境にもかかわらず、初めてこの地上で神様と真の父母の名を中心として聖婚式をしたところから、歴史は新しい方向に変わるようになった」と言うことができます。変化するその歴史の環境が死亡世界へと次第に落ちていき、人類が分裂して破綻の世界へと向かうように思えますが、変化する歴史時代は、次第に互いに異なる地域的環境を越えて、世界へと進む時代に急変していくというのです。
 
神様と共に、父母様の血族を中心として横的に拡大すべき摂理時代を迎え、思想の混乱が起き、伝統の混乱が起きます。揺さぶるのです。キリスト教もすべて揺さぶるのです。それゆえ、解放されてから十四年がたつまで、韓国のキリスト教を見ると、再建（チェゴン）教会も、神社参拝をした教会も、同様でした。
  そこから、韓国を中心として、世界に向かって跳躍できる神様の摂理の道が開き始めるのです。その始発点が、正に一九六〇年四月の聖婚式でした。この聖婚式をして、「父母の日」が設定されることによって、人類歴史において偽りの父母から受け継いだ、汚れた愛と生命と血統を初めて清算し、神様を中心とした本然の新しい愛と生命と血統の関係が、この地上に根を下ろし始めたというのです。この世界は今まで、堕落した天使長の血統を引き継いできましたが、一九六〇年に父母様が現れたその日からは、本然のアダムとエバの血統が、神様の愛を中心として根を下ろし始めたのです。
 
 14 復帰摂理における絶頂であり頂点は、一九六〇年でした。その時、お父様は、国家と国民、すべての教会、そして、すべての人たちから迫害を受けたのです。その当時、死ぬか生きるかを決定しなければならない、切迫した立場でした。統一教会が生き残るか滅びるかの瀬戸際にありました。その困難を切り抜けて聖婚式を挙行したのです。
 
その時点から新たな歴史が出発しました。その時が歴史の転換点だったのです。多くの歴史家たちも、「一九六〇年は歴史の転換点だった」と言っています。その時からすべての問題が解決し始めたのです。
 
 15 父母様が聖婚した一九六〇年四月十一日、その日は外的に見ると平凡な日であって、特別に変わったことはありません。しかし、その日、聖婚式をしたことが、他の日とは全く違うというのです。
 
聖婚式をしたので、今や歴史は、一人の人によって左右されるようになりました。その一人の人が現れるまでの時間が、民族的で世界的な関係をもったものだったのか、また、その期間が歴史的な関係を経て、時代的な関係を経て、未来の関係を経ていける基盤になっているのか、現れたものは簡単に見えますが、それが全体を集約させた代表的な核になる時、歴史はその日を研究するようになるのです。
 
 16 人類の先祖であるアダムが、長成期完成級でエバの言葉に従うことによって主管権を失ったので、これを蕩減復帰するために、イエス様は、神様の愛と一致する完全な人格を備え、創造目的を完成する人間としてやって来て、そこに一致する一人の女性を探さなければなりません。アダムを通してエバを創造したように、再創造の順序を経て、エバ、すなわち新婦を立て、新しい家庭を成立させて初めて、完成世界に向かって上がっていけるのです。
 
その時が正に堕落した時代の「終わりの日」であり、新しい時代が出発する時なのです。その時が一九六〇年でした。今日この地球上に、真の父母を中心とした関係が現れたことは、天宙史的な出来事にほかなりません。
 
 17 神様の目的と創造の偉業は、アダムとエバが祝福を受けることによって、すなわち聖婚式をすることによって成し遂げられます。このようなことを成し遂げるために役事してくる復帰過程を考えてみるとき、人類の先祖が堕落したのは長成期完成級なので、今日の人類は、これを再び尋ね求めて上がっていかなければなりません。蘇生期は僕の時代に該当し、長成期は養子の時代、完成期は嫡子の時代に該当します。したがって、僕の時代である旧約時代を経て、イエス様の福音がこの地上に現れることによって、歴史は養子の時代圏に越えていくようになったのです。
 
人類始祖が養子圏である長成期完成級で堕落したので、その息子の外的な形態と関係を整えて再びつくり直し、長成期完成級の位置まで上げておいて、初めて実子圏を相続できるのです。すなわち、人類始祖が長成期完成級から落ちたため、この長成期完成級に行ってこそ、復帰することができるというのです。しかし、堕落は家庭で起きたので、復帰するときにおいても、この家庭の形態を備えなければ、その基準に上がっていくことができません。それで、統一教会では、父母様を中心として、一九六〇年にその基準を越えたのです。
 
 18 お父様は、個人的に霊的な世界で勝利しました。そのために、この地上で激しい嵐に襲われながらも、「死んではならない」と何千万回、決心したか分かりません。怨讐に出会う峠を越えていくたびに、「私は倒れてはいけない。私は死んではいけない。私が死んだらこのみ旨を誰が立てるのか。いくら苦労をしたとしても、四肢が切られ、不自由な体になって寝たきりで暮らすことになったとしても、私は死んではいけない」と、どれほど心の中で誓ったか分かりません。そのようにしながら、今まで困難な道を歩んできました。
 
基盤のない状態で、名が知られることを恐れるのです。基盤を固める前に、名が知られるのではないかと恐れました。そのような場合には、サタンの攻撃があるのが原則だからです。それで、死なずに四十歳の峠を越える日を待ち望みながら、歳月が早く過ぎていくことだけを黙って願っていました。アブラハムが復帰の基準を立てた以降の四千年の歴史を、「終わりの日」に四十数を立てて越えなければならないことを知って、四十の峠が早く過ぎていくことを指折り数えて待ったのです。また、それはお父様の宿願でした。天宙の前に一身を立て、死なずに責任を果たすために、身もだえしながら今まで歩んできたのです。
 
 19 神様は、四千年を経てイエス様を送られました。イエス様は、長い歴史を経て来られた方です。生まれる時は、母親のおなかを通して十カ月で生まれたのですが、地上に来るために、四千年前から準備された方なのです。そのような歴史的な由来をもって生まれたので、その時までの四千年の歴史を蕩減できたのです。
 
イエス様は、四十歳の時にそのような歴史的な蕩減をすべきでしたが、ユダヤ民族の不信によってそれができなかったので、私たちが七年路程において蕩減しなければなりません。皆さんは、「四十数復帰」ということを学んだはずです。イエス様が四十歳の峠を越えられなかったので、私たちには、四十代の峠を見つめていくべき路程が残っているのです。つまり、そのような蕩減路程が残っているので、再び来られる主も、七年の大患難に逢着せざるを得ません。そのような原理的根拠があるのです。
 
 20 一九六〇年の四十の峠をいかにして越えるのでしょうか。原理が教えてくれる四十の峠を、どのように越えなければならないのでしょうか。イエス様は、三十三歳で亡くなったので、その後の四十の峠を迎える七年を越えることができませんでした。それで、人間の世界に七年の大患難が残されているのです。ですから、この峠をいかにして越えるかというのです。
 
この峠を越えるためには、ヤコブが経てきた復帰路程と、数多くの先祖たちの絡み合った蕩減路程を遡らなければなりません。その道には、友もなく、同僚もいませんでした。「従います」と言った人たちは、行く道の前に重荷になり、とげを刺し、荒れ地をつくったのであって、そこで助けになった人は（一人も）いませんでした。
 
 21 お父様一代から見ると、四十歳までは個人の勝利基準を中心として、初めて横的な基盤へと越えていく時でした。今まで復帰歴史の目的は、アダム一人を立てることだったので、一九六〇年代は、アダムを中心として勝利するための基盤を築く時でした。その勝利は、イエス様が失敗した国家基準での勝利です。
 
ですから、一九六〇年代の統一教会は、イエス様が失敗せざるを得なかった運命圏を、お父様の満四十歳を基準として、実体的に蕩減して越えなければなりませんでした。そのような過程にあった統一教会は、一九六〇年代に激しい迫害を受けました。お父様に勇気がなく、神様のみ前に人間として善悪を分別するという、決定的な宣誓ができていなければ、歴史は遅延していたでしょう。
 
 22 父母様の聖婚式は、地上において記念するに値する天宙的な大事件でした。世界的基準で縦的蕩減条件を、横的にこの地上で解決する実体として、霊肉共に勝利の基準を立てたのです。お父様は、聖婚式の前にイエス様の三弟子、反逆したその弟子を復帰しなければならない立場にいました。
 
聖婚式の目的は、アダム家庭を蕩減する条件を立てることです。人間の父母であるアダムとエバは、夫婦関係において堕落しました。堕落が夫婦を通して起きたので、復帰は一人ではできません。男性一人では復帰されません。女性一人でも天国に行けません。したがって、二人で解決していかなければならないのです。堕落したアダムとエバの立場を復帰して、真の父母の基準を地上で立てなければならないというのです。三弟子の約婚という問題を中心として、解決しなければなりません。
 
 23 復帰は、アダム家庭の復帰を目標として行うのです。アダム家庭が失敗したので、そのみ旨がノア家庭に移されました。神様は、ノア家庭を中心として、世界のすべての人々を洪水審判で滅ぼし、サタン侵入の条件を越えた家庭を立てて、摂理の基盤を地上に構築しておこうとされました。それがアブラハム、イサク、ヤコブ、モーセに移され、イエス様につながって、私たちの時代まで来たのですから、そのすべてのものを蕩減しなければなりません。
 
アダム家庭を基準にして蕩減しなければならないのです。アダムが失ってしまった三人の信仰の子女を復帰しなければ、真の父母の立場に立つことができません。それで、イエス様には、三人の弟子が絶対に必要なのです。その三人は、アダムとエバにとって、三天使長を象徴します。三天使長が一つになって、アダムとエバに服従しませんでした。侍らなかったのです。その結果、堕落世界になったので、完成した父母の境地に立つためには、三天使長格である三弟子がいなければなりません。再臨主も、完全に服従する三人の信仰の子女をもたなければ、真の父母の立場に立つことができないというのが公式になっています。
 
自分の生死の境地を乗り越えて、迫害のまっただ中でも従っていき、孝の道を行くことができる三人の弟子をもたなければなりません。お父様は、そのような三弟子を一九六〇年四月に探して立てました。復帰路程というのは、逆に探し求めて上がっていくものなので、祝福は子女の立場に立っている人が先に受けるのです。家庭圏はヤコブ家庭なので、十二数の基準を基盤にしなければなりません。三人の弟子、三人の子女を中心として、それと同じ基準を通過しなければならないのです。
 
 24 父母様は、一九六〇年に聖婚式をしたあとに聖塩を作りました。真の父母様は、堕落した世界の物に相対できないからです。そのような物に、神様の息子、完成した父母は相対できないのです。そのため、すべて燃やしてしまわなければなりません。燃やす条件として聖塩を採択したので、これを振りかけることによって、サタン世界を清算してしまい、天の側が取り得る条件的、方便的な物として使用できるようになるのです。天の国が設定されれば、この世の国のすべての骨董品、この世の国のあらゆる物は、そのまま使うことはできません。

The turning point in providential history
True Parents' Holy Wedding, held on April 11,1960, was the historic moment when the history of restoration through indemnity climbed over the mountain of indemnity at the completion level of the growth stage. The Holy Wedding of True Parents was a global and cosmic event. True Father, who came as the perfected Adam on the foundation of the long history of the providence, laid the foundation on earth to receive True Mother, the original Eve. True Father represents heaven, True Mother represents earth, and their union finally connected the spiritual world and the physical world, which had been divided. Finally the standard required to break down the wall that had separated Adam and Eve from God had been met.
 
13 Some historians say that in the 1960s history entered a time of great transition. The perspective of the Unification Principle is that although Korea became the base for the Christian cultural sphere to receive the Messiah, the Christian cultural sphere failed when it did not accept me. Nevertheless, we can assert that once the Holy Wedding had been held in the name of God and True Parents, history finally began turning in a new direction.

In the present circumstances, history is full of changes. It appears that humankind is declining and descending into a world of death, and that the world, beset by many divisions, is heading for destruction. But at the same time, we can realize that the scope of historical events is moving beyond national and regional levels and expanding to the world.

Ever since we entered the providential era during which we had to expand our foundation horizontally based on the bond of the God-centered lineage that we have with True Parents, the world has been beset by ideological confusion. Traditions have been falling into chaos. Things are being shaken up. Christianity also is being totally shaken up.

The Holy Wedding was held 14 years after Korea's liberation from Japan. During that time, the Christian churches in Korea were either those that were rebuilding after years underground or those that had survived because their members had followed the dictates of the Japanese and offered bows at Shinto shrines. The way began to open up by which God could lead the providence with Korea as its base and make a leap to expand to the world.

The starting point for this transition was True Parents' Holy Wedding that took place in April 1960. After the Holy Wedding Ceremony, Parents' Day was inaugurated. That was the day when we finally could clear up humankind's history, a history imprisoned by bonds of defiled love, life and lineage from the false parents. The original love, life and lineage centered on God were newly planted and began to deepen their roots on earth. Although the world that had received the fallen archangel's lineage had continued up to that point, from that day in 1960, when the True Parents emerged, the lineage of the original Adam and Eve began to take root centering on God's love. 14 The peak, or apex, of the providence of restoration occurred in 1960. At that time I was receiving persecution from the nation and the people of Korea, from all the Christian denominations and even from some church members. I was in a desperate, life-and-death situation. Indeed, the Unification Church was at a moment of truth; its very survival was at stake. In those difficult circumstances I nevertheless proceeded with the Holy Wedding. At that point a new history began. The Holy Wedding was a historic turning point. Even historians state that 1960 was a turning point. From that point on I began resolving all the problems one by one. (052-068, 1971/12/22)
 
15 April 11, 1960, was the day of True Parents' Holy Wedding. Externally speaking it was an ordinary day; nothing seemed out of the ordinary. However, the Holy Wedding that took place on that day made it a day totally different from any other in history. Because of that day, human history is now in the hands of one person.

At the moment of that one person's coming, were the circumstances prepared such that he could build a relationship with a nation and with the world? Did the circumstances of that moment have a strong enough foundation to pass on to him its relationships with history, with the present age, and with the future? The ceremony itself may appear to have been a simple event, but once people realize that it was the core event representing the entirety of human history, people throughout history will study the significance of that one day. 16 Adam, the ancestor of humankind, lost the authority of dominion because, at the completion level of the growth stage, he listened to Eve and followed her desire. To restore this through indemnity, Jesus had to come to earth as a human being who, one with God's love and having a perfect character, could fulfill the purpose of creation. Then he had to find the one woman who could follow him to fulfill the Will. God created Eve from Adam; thus the re-creation of Adam and Eve must be done in the same order. Adam must be re-created first; then he must establish Eve as his Bride and start a new family in order to walk toward a perfect world.

The re-creation of Adam and Eve marks the end of the fallen era in history and the beginning of a new era. This is what happened in 1960. The establishment of that bond of love centering on True Parents was truly a cosmic event. (028-013, 1970/01/01)
 
17 God's purpose of creation and His work of re-creation can be realized now that Adam and Eve have received the Marriage Blessing at their Holy Wedding. God had worked to realize this ever since the first human ancestors fell at the completion level of the growth stage, and from the viewpoint of that course of restoration, all humankind today must climb to that level.

The formation stage of the growing period corresponds to the age of the servant; the growth stage corresponds to the age of adopted children; and the completion stage corresponds to the age of direct children. After history had passed through the Old Testament Age, the age of the servant, Jesus' gospel appeared on earth. At that point, human history entered the realm of adopted children. The human ancestors, still in the realm of adopted children, fell at the completion level of the growth stage. Therefore, fallen human beings must connect to the external foundation of the Son and be re-created. Then they can be elevated to the completion level of the growth stage in order to finally inherit the realm of direct children.

In short, since the completion level of the growth stage is the level from which the human ancestors fell, we have to reach that level in order to be restored. However, since the Fall took place in the process of forming their family, we cannot reach the standard that God desires unless we establish a family. That is why True Parents conducted the Holy Wedding in 1960 in the Unification Church; it was in order to reach that standard. (028-012, 1970/01/01)
 
18 1 fought with the spirit world and was victorious on the individual level. To win that victory I faced winds that threatened to sweep me away; they were harsher than the harshest winds on earth. Tens of millions of times I had to resolve to persevere against the powers of death. Whenever I came face-to-face with the enemy, Satan, I told myself, "I cannot collapse. I cannot die. If I die, who will establish the will of heaven? No matter how much I suffer, I have to live. Even if my four limbs are amputated and I am bed-ridden the rest of my life, I absolutely must not die." With this resolve I was able to overcome all obstacles on that incredibly difficult path.

I am the type of person who fears having my name known to the world before I establish a strong foundation. I fear becoming famous before an adequate foundation is laid. In such a case, it is a principle that Satan is bound to attack. Therefore, as 1 needed to pass my 40-year milestone without dying, I looked forward to that day while silently hoping that the time would pass by quickly. I knew I had to establish the condition of the number 40, since Abraham had established the number 40 and Jesus had come at the end of 4,000 years of history. Thus, I looked forward to passing that 40-year milestone. Hoping for many long years to reach that day, I struggled fiercely to fulfill all my responsibilities without dying so that I might stand victorious before heaven and earth. (013-039, 1963/10/16) 
 
19 God sent Jesus after 4,000 years. He came after a long history had passed. Jesus was born after only ten months (by Korean counting) in his mother s womb, but for him to come to earth had taken 4,000 years of preparation. Because he came with such a historical foundation, Jesus was in a position to indemnify the entire history of 4,000 years. Originally he was supposed to complete the condition to indemnify that history by the age of 40, but due to the disbelief of his people he was unable to accomplish that.

So we had to indemnify that periodof history during the seven-year course leading up to the Holy Wedding in 1960.1 am sure that you all know about 40-day restoration periods. Since Jesus was unable to reach the age of 40, the course to overcome the obstacle of the number 40 remained with us. Since that indemnity course still had to be fulfilled, as the Returning Lord I had no choice but to persevere through seven years of great tribulations. The basis of this exists within the Principle of Restoration. (019-150, 1968/01/01)
 
20 How could I surpass the hurdle of the number 40 in 1960? How could I get past the number 40 that is based on the teaching of the Principle? Jesus died at the age of 33; he was 7 years short of achieving the number 40. That is why during the remaining seven-year period I had to face great tribulations in the human world. I was confronted with the issue of how I could overcome these obstacles. In order to overcome them, I had to go against the flow and follow the course of restoration that Jacob passed through, and all the entangled indemnity courses of the numerous forebears in the course of providential history.

I had no friends or colleagues on this path. Even those who said they would follow me ended up being burdens to me on the path that I had to take; they strewed it with thorns and created obstacles for me. There was no one to help me. (019-111, 1967/12/31)
 
21 The path of my life up to age 40 wasthe time for me to achieve victory on the individual level before I finally could move on and create a horizontal foundation. The purpose of that period in my life was to indemnify the history of restoration in order to establish the one Adam. Then in 1960, the time came to create the horizontal foundation on which to bring victory centering on Adam.

The victory I am talking about is the victory on the national level that Jesus was not able to reach. Therefore, based on my having reached the age of 40, the Unification Church in the 1960s had to substantially indemnify and overcome the destiny Jesus faced when he was unable to surmount the obstacles to reaching the age of 40. That is why the Unification Church in the 1960s received enormous persecution. If I, as the representative of humankind, had not had the courage to make a decisive oath in front of God that I would divide good from evil, the work of the providence would have been delayed. 22 True Parents' Holy Wedding was a cosmic, momentous event, worthy of a great celebration on earth. Thereby the True Parents, as God's embodiments, gained the world-level victory both spiritually and physically. This was the vertical indemnity condition for resolving issues on the horizontal plane on earth. In order to be in the position to conduct the Holy Wedding, I had to restore Jesus' three main disciples who failed to support him. I had to indemnify the failure of Adam to properlyestablish a family.

Due to the Fall, Adam and Eve, the first human ancestors, were unable to form a true conjugal relationship. The Fall occurred through the act of two individuals, a man and a woman. Therefore, restoration cannot be completed by one person alone. A man cannot be restored alone, nor can a woman go to heaven alone. Nothing can be resolved without the efforts of two individuals. After restoring the positions of unfallen Adam and Eve, these two individuals are to establish the standard of the True Parents on earth. This requires the betrothal of three disciples. 23 The goal of the providence of restoration is to restore Adam s family. Due to the failure of Adam's family, the providence moved to Noah's family. God destroyed all people on Earth through the flood judgment, except for Noah's family; then, based on that family He intended to establish a providential foundation that was beyond Satan's accusation. Then the providence moved to Abraham, Jacob, Moses and Jesus, and now it has arrived at this era. We must indemnify all of it, and the center is Adam's family.

The position of the True Parents cannot be established without the restoration of the three children whom Adam had lost. That is why Jesus absolutely needed his three disciples. They also represented the three archangels. The three archangels were not united in obedience and attendance to Adam and Eve. As a result, the world became fallen. That iswhy Jesus had to restore three disciples in order to stand in the position of the True Parent. Likewise, the Lord at the Second Advent also must have three spiritual children who absolutely obey him. Otherwise, he cannot stand in the position of the True Parent. This is the formula. I had to have three disciples who would absolutely follow me as filial sons, even in life-and-death situations in the midst of persecution.

In April of 1960,1 was able to establish these three disciples. Since the course of restoration goes in reverse, the betrothal ceremony was given first to those who stood in the children's position. Jacob's family is representative of the family realm, so the foundation for the betrothal had to be made based on the number 12. That standard should be established based on those three disciples. 24 After the Holy Wedding in 1960,1 created holy salt. Do you know why? It was because True Parents should not use anything from the fallen world. God's Son is the Parent whom God has perfected. Everything that is defiled in the fallen world should be burned; however, since this is not possible in practice, holy salt was created as an alternative. Sprinkling things with holy salt symbolizes cleansing the things of the fallen world. Applying holy salt cleanses Satan's world and, on that condition, heaven's side is able to use the things in the fallen world. Once God's nation is established, no one will be able to use the things of the world and itsnations as they are, even their most valued antiques, without cleansing them. (267-119, 1995/01/03)
