INVICTUS observed ‘Wear Blue’ Day to raise awareness about anti-bullying.

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting a safe and supportive school environment, we observed ‘Wear Blue’ Day to raise awareness about anti-bullying. All students were encouraged to wear a blue shirt as a symbol of unity against bullying and to reinforce the values of kindness and respect. In conjunction with this initiative, the school hosted an anti-bullying talk titled “Anti-Bullying Campaign: Together We Can Make the Difference” during our Assembly for Years 6 to 13, delivered by Dr. Mohammad Riduan Ishak, Executive Director of Tarkiz Pte. Ltd. Dr. Riduan is a substance-abuse specialist, para-counsellor, and certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner who frequently speaks on life transformation, overcoming adversity, and strengthening community relationships. He is also the recipient of the Beyond Second Chances (Overcomers) Award 2023 by Singapore’s Yellow Ribbon Project, recognising his meaningful contributions to rehabilitation efforts. The session aimed to deepen our students’ understanding of empathy, mutual respect, and the shared responsibility of building a bully-free school community.

안전하고 지원적인 학교 환경을 조성하기 위한 지속적인 노력의 일환으로, 우리는 '블루웨어' 데이를 기념하여 반불링에 대한 인식을 높였습니다. 모든 학생들은 괴롭힘에 대한 단결의 상징으로 파란색 셔츠를 입도록 권장하고 친절과 존중의 가치를 강화했습니다. 이 이니셔티브와 함께, 학교는 6년부터 13년 동안 열린 총회에서 "반불링 캠페인: 우리는 함께 변화를 만들 수 있습니다"라는 제목의 반불링 강연을 개최했습니다. 이 강연은 Tarkiz Pte. Ltd.의 전무 이사인 모하마드 리두안 이샤크 박사가 진행했습니다. 리두안 박사는 약물 남용 전문가이자 변호사이며, 공인된 신경언어학 프로그래밍 실무자로서 삶의 변화, 역경 극복, 지역 사회 관계 강화에 대해 자주 이야기합니다. 또한 싱가포르 옐로우 리본 프로젝트가 선정한 2023년 비욘드 세컨드 찬스(오버커) 어워드를 수상하며 재활 노력에 대한 그의 의미 있는 공헌을 인정했습니다. 이 세션은 학생들의 공감, 상호 존중, 괴롭힘 없는 학교 공동체 구축에 대한 공동의 책임에 대한 이해를 심화시키는 것을 목표로 했습니다.
