Excellent!
The warmest fleece I have. Almost like a sweatshirt in its design, but much warmer.

Top Notch
The Nailhead Pullover is a terrific garment while on the trail or out on the town. Excellent workmanship and materials plus Altrec's great customer service.

Great !
I had the earlier "Made in USA" version of this pullover and liked it so much decided to get another one. Well, this one is now made in Salvador and so I started nitpicking at it very critically. In the USA version the hem of the sleeves and waist had a cloth lining. This is now gone. The whole garment is now made of Thermal ProÂ?. This is actually good as the cloth dried slower than the fleece causing clammy wrists in wet weather. The workmanship and fit is impeccable and is virtually identical to the older version except that it is longer. If you are buying one for layering, remember that it runs a little big and long. Remember that this fabric does not pill so it looks good wash after wash and stays warm. My wife has the so-called woman's version that has 2 handwarmer pockets too that I borrow sometimes. However that runs a little small. In other words if you wear a medium in men's you would like a size 14 at least in the womens version.

Warm, soft, comfortable and stylish
Mountain Hardwear continues to impress me by not resting on its rock-solid reputation (unlike some other brands). The Nailhead Pullover delivers comfort through a wide range of temperatures. It's highly breathable, super soft, and both functional and stylish enough to bridge the gap between trekking the tundra or the town. A tad looser fitting than I expected, though. Another masterpiece from Mountain Hardwear.

I bought a second after owning my first
I bought one at a local store and love it. Bought a second for myself and one for my wife from Altrec because local ran out. Saved freight and taxes and own 2 of the best pullover made.

Great Pullover. Excellent for lounging around town and home. Not really a technical piece if that what your looking for, but very warm and durable.

not working right now
I bike to the bus stop wearing a t-shirt under my nailhead pullover in 50/60's degree weather and when I get on the bus is about 70. I feel comfortable, not too cold, not too hot. Also the fit is great.

Good looks and good performance.
I bought this shirt as to wear as a casual sweater, but it's warmth and durability has allowed me to use it on hikes and at the crag as well. The fit is dead on, and the pullover is just plain good looking. Yes Mountain Hardwear gear is slightly expensive, but everytime I see the "made in the USA" on the tag I can't help but feel the money was well spent. Great quality, great warmth, good looks, it's all here.

warm and cozy
I recently got the nailhead pullover and it was worth every penny.. its WAY warm, has a really nice fit thats not loose (mountain hardwear always seems to be pretty good about getting clothing that actually fits and is true to size), and looks great. no complaints here..
