에베소서 1:3-6

많은 목사님들이 성경에 기록된 예정에 관한 말씀을 바르게 해석하지 못하고 있습니다. 그들은 인간이 태어나기도 전에 하나님께서 천국에 갈 자와 지옥에 갈 자를 각각 예정하셨다고 주장합니다. 그러나 성경은 결코 그렇게 말씀하지 않습니다. 하나님께서는 예수 그리스도 안에서 우리를 예정하신 것입니다.

하나님께서 창세전에 예정하신 것은 인간이 타락할 경우, 예수 그리스도를 세상에 보내어 죄에 빠진 인간들을 구원하시겠다는 계획이었습니다. 그러므로 인간이 타락하지 않았더라면 예수 그리스도께서 인간을 구원하시기 위해 세상에 오실 필요가 없었던 것입니다.

그러나 인간이 죄를 범하고 타락했기 때문에 예수 그리스도께서는 하나님의 예정하신 계획에 따라 세상에 오셨습니다.

우리는 하나님께서 예수 그리스도 안에서 구원받을 자들을 예정하셨다는 말씀을 바르게 이해해야 합니다. 이것은 하나님께서 특정한 사람들을 아무런 조건 없이 구원하시고, 다른 사람들은 무조건 멸망하도록 정하셨다는 뜻이 아닙니다.

하나님께서는 예수 그리스도를 유일한 구원자로 믿고, 그분의 말씀에 따라 자신의 죄를 회개하며, 하나님의 뜻에 끝까지 순종하는 자들을 예수 그리스도 안에서 구원하시기로 예정하신 것입니다.

그러므로 중요한 것은 자신이 구원받도록 예정된 사람인가를 알려고 하는 것이 아니라, 예수 그리스도를 믿고 그분의 말씀에 따라 회개와 순종의 삶을 살아가는 것입니다.

요한복음 15:10

내가 아버지의 계명을 지켜 그의 사랑 안에 거하는 것 같이 너희도 내 계명을 지키면 내 사랑 안에 거하리라

요한복음 8:31

Many pastors do not correctly interpret what the Bible teaches about predestination. They claim that even before human beings were born, God had already predestined certain people to go to heaven and others to go to hell. However, the Bible never teaches such a thing. God predestined us in Jesus Christ.

What God predestined before the creation of the world was His plan to send Jesus Christ into the world to save humanity from sin if human beings fell into sin. Therefore, if humanity had not fallen into sin, there would have been no need for Jesus Christ to come into the world to save human beings.

However, because human beings sinned and fell into sin, Jesus Christ came into the world according to God's predestined plan.

We must correctly understand what the Bible means when it says that God predestined those who would be saved in Jesus Christ. This does not mean that God unconditionally decided to save certain people while unconditionally determining that others would perish.

God predestined that those who believe in Jesus Christ as the only Savior, repent of their sins according to His Word, and continue to obey God's will faithfully to the end would be saved in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, what matters is not trying to find out whether we are among those predestined to be saved, but believing in Jesus Christ and living a life of repentance and obedience according to His Word.

John 15:10

If you obey My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and remain in His love.

John 8:31–32

Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, "If you continue to hold to My teaching, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Matthew 7:21

Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of My Father who is in heaven.

1 John 2:5
