A joyous and memorable Teacher’s Day celebration was held at Austin Heights International School on Friday, 15 May 2026, filled with appreciation, laughter, music, and heartfelt moments.

The celebration began with inspiring speeches by the Principal, Mr. Suresh Kumar Balakrishnan, and the Founder Chairman, Dato’ Steve Chong Yoon On, who expressed their sincere appreciation to all teachers for their dedication, sacrifices, and commitment in shaping the future generation. They also encouraged students to continue respecting, supporting, and appreciating their teachers at all times.

The celebration truly came alive with the wonderful performances by both students and teachers, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The band performance of “You Raise Me Up”, the energetic dance presentation by the Year 10 students, and the lively teachers’ performance brought excitement and cheer to the occasion, showcasing the amazing talents within our school community.

One of the most touching moments of the celebration was the special video presentation featuring teachers sharing stories about the educators who had inspired them throughout their lives. The heartfelt messages from our school alumni wishing their former teachers a Happy Teacher’s Day added an emotional and meaningful touch to the programme, reminding everyone of the lasting impact teachers have on their students.

The celebration also included a cake-cutting ceremony, during which the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and teachers gathered on stage in a spirit of unity and appreciation. Teachers were also delighted to receive special gifts from the school management as a token of gratitude for their unwavering dedication and hard work.

The celebration continued into the afternoon with a joyful gift exchange session among the teachers, followed by a delightful Hi-Tea gathering at the school hall, providing an opportunity for teachers and staff to relax, bond, and celebrate together.

축하 행사에는 케이크 커팅식도 진행되어 시니어리더십팀(SLT)과 교사들이 단합과 감사의 마음으로 무대에 모였습니다. 또한 교사들은 변함없는 헌신과 노고에 대한 감사의 표시로 학교 경영진으로부터 특별한 선물을 받게 되어 기뻤습니다.
축하 행사는 오후까지 교사들 간의 즐거운 선물 교환 세션으로 이어졌고, 이어서 학교 강당에서 즐거운 하이티 모임이 열리며 교사와 직원들이 함께 휴식을 취하고 유대감을 형성하며 축하할 수 있는 기회를 제공했습니다.
