예베소서 1:7-12

우리가 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 구속 곧 죄 사함을 받았으니 이는 그가 모든 지혜와 총명으로 우리에게 넘치게 하사 그 뜻의 비밀을 우리에게 알리셨으니 곧 그 기쁘심을 따라 그리스도 안에서 때가 찬 경륜을 위하여 예정하신 것이니 하늘에 있는 것이나 땅에 있는 것이 다 그리스도 안에서 통일되게 하려 하심이라 모든 일을 그 마음의 원대로 역사하시는 자의 뜻을 따라 우리가 예정을 입어 그 안에서 기업이 되었으니 이는 그리스도 안에서 전부터 바라던 우리로 그의 영광의 찬송이 되게 하려 하심이라

죄의 대가는 저주와 영원한 죽음이다. 그러나 하나님의 넘치는 사랑과 은혜와 긍휼하심이 죄인들을 다시 살리셨습니다. 그 방법은 영이신 하나님께서 친히 인간의 육체를 입고 세상에 오셔서 인간의 죄를 대신하여 죽으시는 것이었습니다. 예수 그리스도는 인간의 육체를 입고 이 세상에 오신 창조주 하나님이십니다.

예수 그리스도의 피가 인류의 모든 죄를 대속하셨습니다. 그러므로 누구든지 예수 그리스도를 구원자로 영접하면 죄와 사망에서 해방됩니다.하나님께서 자신의 생명을 바쳐 인간들을 다시 살리신 데에는 분명한 목적이 있습니다. 그것은 모든 사람이 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 삶을 살게 하시기 위함입니다.

그러나 일부의 사람들만이 예수 그리스도를 구원자로 받아들입니다. 그리고 예수님을 믿는 사람들 가운데서도 극히 일부만이 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 삶을 살아갑니다.하나님께 영광을 돌리는 삶이란 예수님의 말씀을 따라 자신의 죄를 회개하고, 그 말씀에 순종하며 살아가는 것을 의미합니다.

하나님께서는 인간들을 너무나 사랑하셔서 생명과 사랑과 은혜를 넘치도록 부어주셨습니다. 그러나 그 풍성한 은혜를 받아들이고 누리는 사람은 매우 적습니다.그 이유는 하나님의 은혜가 부족하기 때문이 아닙니다. 인간들의 욕심과 교만과 완악함이 너무나 심하기 때문입니다.

하나님께서는 예수 그리스도 안에서 모든 것이 통일되기를 원하십니다.이 말씀은 모든 사람이 예수 그리스도를 구원자로 믿고, 자신의 죄를 회개하며, 주님의 말씀에 순종함으로써 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 삶을 살아야 한다는 뜻입니다.하나님께서는 모든 사람이 주님의 뜻을 따라 살아가다가 마침내 천국에 들어오기를 간절히 원하십니다.

Ephesians 1:7-12

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.The wages of sin are a curse and eternal death. However, God's overflowing love, grace, and mercy have brought sinners back to life.The way God accomplished this was by coming into the world Himself, taking on human flesh, and dying in place of humanity to bear the penalty for human sins. Jesus Christ is the Creator God who came into this world in human flesh.The blood of Jesus Christ has atoned for all the sins of humanity. Therefore, whoever receives Jesus Christ as their Savior is set free from sin and death.God had a clear purpose in sacrificing His own life to bring humanity back to life. That purpose was for all people to live lives that glorify God.However, only some people accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. And even among those who believe in Jesus, very few actually live lives that glorify God.In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

God loves humanity so deeply that He has poured out His life, love, and grace in overflowing abundance. Yet very few people receive and enjoy His abundant grace.The reason is not that God's grace is insufficient, but that human greed, pride, and stubbornness are so deeply rooted in people's hearts.

God desires all things to be united in Jesus Christ.This means that all people should believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, repent of their sins, and live in obedience to the Lord's Word, thereby bringing glory to God. God earnestly desires that all people live according to His will and ultimately enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
