에베소서 1:13-14

그 안에서 너희도 진리의 말씀 곧 너희의 구원의 복음을 듣고 그 안에서 또한 믿어 약속의 성령으로 인치심을 받았으니 이는 우리의 기업에 보증이 되사 그 얻으신 것을 구속하시고 그의 영광을 찬미하게 하려 하심이라

예수 그리스도 안에서 진리가 전파됩니다. 진리를 듣고 받아들이는 자는 생명을 얻습니다. 예수님을 믿고 회개하는 자에게 성령이 오십니다.

성령은 진리를 깨닫게 하셔서 우리가 온전한 회개와 순종을 이루고 천국에 들어가게 하십니다.

성령으로 인치심을 받는 것은 성령이 충만한 것을 의미합니다. 성령이 충만할 때 예수 그리스도께서 창조주 하나님이시라는 사실을 믿게 됩니다.

예수님이 하나님이심을 믿을 때, 형식적인 믿음을 버리고 자원하는 마음으로 예수님의 말씀에 순종하게 됩니다.

이웃을 용서하고, 자신을 희생하며, 이웃과 화목을 이루고, 영혼을 사랑하는 것은 육신의 능력으로 이루어지는 일이 아닙니다. 그것은 성령이 주시는 능력과 지혜로 이루어지는 것입니다.

그러므로 성령은 우리 구원의 보증이 되십니다. 예수님의 영이 성령으로 오셨습니다. 구약 시대에도 예수님은 안식일의 주인으로 일하셨습니다.

마태복음 12:8

인자는 안식일의 주인이니라 하시니라.

마가복음 2:27-28

또 가라사대 안식일은 사람을 위하여 있는 것이요 사람이 안식일을 위하여 있는 것이 아니니 이러므로 인자는 안식일에도 주인이니라.

누가복음 6:5

또 가라사대 인자는 안식일의 주인이니라 하시더라.

예수님이 안식일의 주인이셨습니다. 안식일의 주인은 여호와 하나님이시며 창조주이십니다. 그러므로 예수님 안에 있다는 것은 창조주 하나님 안에 있다는 것입니다.

만물을 창조하시고 다스리시는 예수님 안에 있는 자가 구속받고, 구원받으며, 천국에 들어갑니다.

예수님 안에 있다는 것은 예수님의 피로 죄를 씻고, 예수님의 말씀에 끝까지 순종하는 것을 의미합니다.

예수님의 피로 죄에서 구속받았으나 다시 죄를 짓고 회개하지 않는다면, 그가 받은 구속은 취소되는 것입니다. 가룟 유다나 사울 왕과 같은 자들이 그러한 예입니다.

우리의 죄를 구속해 주신 예수님의 피를 우리가 헛되게 만들지 않아야 합니다, 끝까지 예수님 안에 거해야 한다, 이는 끝까지 회개와 순종의 삶을 지키는 것이다.

Ephesians 1:13–14

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.

The truth is proclaimed in Jesus Christ. Those who hear and accept the truth receive life. The Holy Spirit comes to those who believe in Jesus and repent.

The Holy Spirit enables us to understand the truth so that we may fully repent and obey, and enter heaven.

Being sealed with the Holy Spirit means being filled with the Holy Spirit. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we come to believe that Jesus Christ is God the Creator.

When we believe that Jesus is God, we abandon merely outward faith and willingly obey His words.

Forgiving our neighbors, sacrificing ourselves, living in peace with our neighbors, and loving souls are things we cannot accomplish through our own human strength. They are accomplished through the power and wisdom that the Holy Spirit gives us.

Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our salvation. The Spirit of Jesus has come as the Holy Spirit. Even in Old Testament times, Jesus worked as the Lord of the Sabbath.

Matthew 12:8

“For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

Mark 2:27–28

Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”

Luke 6:5

Then Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

Jesus was the Lord of the Sabbath. The Lord of the Sabbath is the LORD God, the Creator. Therefore, being in Jesus means being in God the Creator.

Those who are in Jesus, who created and rules over all things, are redeemed, saved, and enter heaven.

Being in Jesus means having our sins washed away by His blood and continuing to obey His words to the end.

If someone has been redeemed from sin by the blood of Jesus but sins again and does not repent, the redemption that person received is canceled. Judas Iscariot and King Saul are examples of such people.

We must not render ineffective the blood of Jesus, through which He redeemed us from our sins. We must remain in Jesus to the end. This means continuing to live a life of repentance and obedience to the end.
