설교 요점(The Focus of Sermon)

하나님 나라로 회개(Repentance into the Kingdom of God)

예수님은 세례 요한을 이어 회개를 말씀하십니다. 그러나 예수님은, 세례 요한과 달리, 하나님 나라의 복음 선포와 함께 회개를 말씀하십니다. 세례 요한은 예수님의 하나님 나라의 복음 선포를 준비하지만, 하나님 나라의 복음을 선포할 수 없습니다. 그는 사람들에게 하나님 나라의 임함을 알리지만, 하나님 나라의 임함을 선포할 수 없습니다.

Jesus, succeeding the baptist John, speaks of repentance. But He, unlike the baptist John, speaks of repentance with the proclamation of the gospel of the kingdom of God. Although the baptist John prepares Jesus' proclamation of the gospel of the kingdom of God, he cannot proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of God. Although he may announce the coming of the kingdom of God to the people, he cannot proclaim the coming of the kingdom of God.

회개는 복음 선포의 반응입니다. 죄를 전제하지 않습니다. 죄가 전제되면, 회개는 개인으로 다루어질 수밖에 없습니다. 충동은 개인으로 보이기 때문입니다. 따라서 죄는 개인으로 의식됩니다. 즉 죄가 강조되면, 모든 것은 개인적으로 의식되게 됩니다.

Repentance is the response of the proclamation of the gospel. It does not presuppose sin. If sin is presupposed, repentance cannot but be dealt with individually, for impulse is shown individually. Thus, sin is being conscious of individually. That is, sin is emphasized, everything is being conscious of individually.

하나님과 함께하는 회개 혹은 하나님 나라에 회개는 영적입니다. 하나님 나라의 새로운 삶을 위한 회개입니다. 부모로부터 육신으로 태어난 사람들은 개인으로 세상에 삽니다. 그러나 하나님의 영으로 하나님과 함께로 태어나는 이들은 하나님 나라에 삽니다.

The repentance of being together with God or the repentance in the kingdom of God is Spiritual. It is repentance for the new life into the kingdom of God. People who are physically born from their parents live in the world individually. But those who are born together with Him with His Spirit live in His kingdom.

회개는 선포된 복음으로 이루어집니다. 그러므로 회개는 세상에서 나타나는 현상이 아닙니다. 회개가 현상으로 다루어지면, 종교적 의미를 갖습니다. 회개는 종교에 대한 개인의 현신의 의미입니다. 종교성은 개인성의 한 부분입니다. 개인이 종교인이 됩니다.

Repentance is fulfilled with the proclaimed gospel. Therefore, it is not a phenomenon that appears in the world. If it is dealt with as a phenomenon, it has a religious meaning. It is the meaning of an individual devotion to religion. Religiosity is a part of individuality. An individual becomes a religious person.

한 주의 단상

회개는 세상에 태어나 유지되지 않고, 선포되는 하나님 나라로 이루어집니다. 선포된 하나님 나라는 회개로 이루어지는 새로운 삶입니다. 세상에 태어난 이들은 세상 나라로 살지만 회개한 이들은 하나님 나라로 삽니다.

구약의 이스라엘 백성은 아브람의 후손이라는 속성을 유지했습니다. 그들이 하나님과 함께하는 언약의 백성이라고 주장했지만, 그들은 태어난 세상 속성을 유지함으로 살았습니다. 이것이 구약이 보이는 문제입니다.

예수님의 하나님 나라와 유대인들의 세상 나라는 회개로 갈라집니다. 유대인들은 세상에 태어난 대로 세상 나라로 살고, 예수님을 따르는 이들은 회개로 하나님 나라로 삽니다. 회개는 이 갈림을 뜻합니다.
