The International School of Penang (Uplands) — Year 1 Learning Visit

Yesterday, our Year 1 children visited the Civil Defence Force and enjoyed a fantastic, hands-on learning experience! The students learned how civil defence officers help and protect the community and explored a variety of emergency vehicles, including a fire truck, amphibious boat, ambulance, and light rescue vehicle.

One of the most exciting moments was getting to meet some snakes, as the children discovered that snake rescue is also part of the important work carried out by civil defence officers!

It was a highly engaging and meaningful visit, and the children thoroughly enjoyed learning through real-life experiences. A wonderful day of discovery and curiosity!

어제 1학년 어린이들이 민방위군을 방문해 환상적인 체험 학습을 즐겼습니다! 학생들은 민방위 대원들이 지역사회를 돕고 보호하는 방법을 배우고 소방차, 수륙양용보트, 구급차, 경구조 차량 등 다양한 응급 차량을 탐색했습니다.
가장 흥미로운 순간 중 하나는 뱀을 만난 것이었습니다. 아이들은 뱀 구조도 민방위 요원들이 수행하는 중요한 작업의 일부라는 사실을 알게 되었습니다!
매우 흥미롭고 의미 있는 방문이었고, 아이들은 실제 경험을 통해 배움을 즐겼습니다. 발견과 호기심의 멋진 하루였습니다!
