<p>필리핀 공군이 12월 28일 루손섬 다닐로 아티엔자 공군기지에서 OV-10 브롱코 COIN기와 AH-1S 코브라 공격헬기를 퇴역시켰습니다. </p><p> </p><p>OV-10 브롱코는 1991년부터 운영했으며, 민다나오 섬 등의 전장에서 CAS 등의 임무도 수행했었다고 하네요. AH-1S는 요르단이 2019년 2대를 지원했었고 역시 CAS 임무를 수행했었다고 합니다. </p><p> </p><p>필리핀 공군은 FA-50 외에도 슈퍼 투카노, TAI T129 ATAK 공격헬기 등을 도입해 지상공격 능력을 강화시키고 있네요. </p><p> </p><p>필리핀은 OV-10 중고기를 총 35기 도입해서 운용했었네요. 내전 때문인지 꽤나 <b>OV-10 has served with the air force since 1991</b> and performed a range of missions. This includes 88 ground attack sorties during the 2017 Battle of Marawi against Islamic militants on the southern island of Mindanao.</p><p>The<b> AH-1Ss have served since 2019, when two were donated by Jordan, operating in the close air support mission.</b></p><p> </p><p>“The service of the Bronco and Cobra is marked by countless missions and operations, this firmly stands as a testament to the dedication and bravery of the pilots and crew who flew and maintained them,” says the 15th Strike Wing.</p><p>“As they end their era in the skies of the Philippine Air Force, we positively move forward, building on the lessons learned and the successes achieved during the distinguished careers of these reputable platforms.”</p><p>In recent years the Philippine air force has modernised its ground attack capabilities, receiving new types such as the Korea Aerospace Industries FA-50 light attack jet, Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano light attack aircraft, and the Turkish Aerospace T129 ATAK attack helicopter.</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Rockwell_OV-10_Bronco#Philippines" target="_top" class="ke-link">North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco - Wikipedia</a></p>

첫댓글 베트남전쟁 때 개발된 것들이 드디어 퇴역했네요.
한국군의 코브라도 2024년 퇴역 예정이었네요. LAH가 12월 납품됐으니 예정대로 퇴역했을 듯 싶습니다. ( https://www.newsis.com/view/NISX20220221_0001766901 )
이제 OV-10 운용하는데는 미국 산림청밖에 안남은거 같군요. 거기서도 AFAC으로 쓰더군요. 프롭도 5엽이고 다른데도 업그레이드가 꽤 된거 같더라는...
