The International School of Penang (Uplands) — Reception Class Water Wall Learning

Our Reception students helped to design and create a Water Wall, enjoying a fun and meaningful hands-on learning experience. As they explored how water flows, pours, and changes direction, students developed important fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and early problem-solving skills.

Working together to build and test the Water Wall also encouraged teamwork, communication, and cooperation. Through curiosity, experimentation, and play, Reception students deepened their understanding of cause and effect while building confidence and independence in their learning.

리셉션 학생들은 워터 월을 설계하고 제작하는 데 도움을 주며 재미있고 의미 있는 실습 학습 경험을 즐겼습니다. 학생들은 물이 어떻게 흐르고, 붓고, 방향을 바꾸는지 탐구하면서 중요한 미세 운동 기술, 손과 눈의 협응력, 초기 문제 해결 능력을 키웠습니다.
함께 물의 벽을 만들고 테스트하는 작업은 팀워크, 소통, 협력을 장려하기도 했습니다. 리셉션 학생들은 호기심, 실험, 놀이를 통해 원인과 결과에 대한 이해를 심화시키는 동시에 학습에 대한 자신감과 독립성을 쌓았습니다.
