20260809 주일예배 Worship in BSBC Mt 28

8월 9일 주일예배.

이곳에서 북쪽으로 52마일 거리에 위치한 Bitter Springs Baptist Church에서 예배드렸다.

나눈 말씀은 마태복음 28장, 예수님의 부활, 세상의 부인, 예수님의 대사명.

구약에 예고되었던 예수님의 메시야사역; 하나님 나라의 고전성.

만물의 이치 속에 이미 부활의 기재가 내장되었거늘, 그리고 예수께서 그것을 증명하셨거늘, 하나님께의 순복을 거절하는 사람들은 무슨 이유로라도 결국 불신의 길을 간다.

그 복음(천국소식)을 듣고 받아들인 것은 우리에게 베푸신 하나님의 은혜.

그 은혜에 합당하게 사명을 감당하지 못하는 것이 우리의 죄송함.

교회로 가는 도중, 도착 4마일 전, 교통사고 뒤처리가 이뤄지고 있었다.

사고차량은 견인차에 얹혀있었고, 관련된 대형 화물트럭의 화물들이 옮겨지고 있었다. (돌아오는 길에도 여전히..)

다행히 기념품 파는 노점이 있는 공간이라 길이 막히지는 않은 상태.

알고 보니 동네 사람 부부와 일녀 중 운전하던 남자는 사망, 두 여자는 중태. ㅠㅠ

원인은 주일 아침의 취중 운전.

동네 사람이고 보니 교우들도 아는 사람들인 데다 그중 하나는 집안네 사람.

참으로 안타깝고 슬픈 일이 아닐 수 없다.

이것이 그들의 삶인가 싶지만 결국 우리 모두의 모습이 거기 담겨있는 거 아닐까?

주여! 긍휼을 베푸소서.

20260809 The Lord's Day Worship.

We worshiped at Bitter Springs Baptist Church which is located 52 miles away toward north.

The words we shared were Matthew 28, Jesus’ resurrection, the denial of the world, and Jesus’ Great Commission.

The Messianic ministry of Jesus, foretold in the Old Testament; the classical nature of God’s kingdom.

The plan of resurrection was already embedded in the laws of all things, and Jesus proved it, yet those who refuse to submit to God inevitably end up on the path of unbelief for whatever reason.

It was God’s grace toward us that we heard and accepted that gospel (the news of the kingdom of heaven).

Our remorse is that, in keeping with that grace, we have failed to carry out our mission.

On the way to church, four miles before the church, the aftermath of a traffic accident was being handled.

The crashed vehicle was mounted on the tow truck, and the cargo of the related large freight truck was being reloaded. (It was so when I came back.)

Fortunately, it’s where the street vendor selling souvenirs is, so the road isn’t congested due to the space.

It turned out that among a local couple and a woman, the man who was driving died, and the two women are in critical condition.

The cause was drunk driving on Sunday morning.

Since they were from the neighborhood, they were people the church members knew, and one of them was a member of the church family’s household.

It is truly a regrettable and sad matter.

I wonder if this is their life, but perhaps it ultimately contains the image of all of us?

Lord, have mercy on us.
