The International School of Penang (Uplands) is proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by Jiamin (Year 12), who has been awarded GLOBAL GOLD in the British Biology Olympiad 2026!

Only the top 5% of participants worldwide receive a Gold award, making this an exceptional accomplishment.

In recognition of her remarkable performance, Jiamin has been invited to attend the prestigious Biology Camp at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. This exclusive programme offers an incredible opportunity to deepen her understanding of biology, learn from world-class instructors, and connect with talented students from around the world.

Participants will also gain rare access to Cambridge’s biological laboratories, experiencing cutting-edge scientific environments and gaining valuable exposure that supports future applications to leading universities such as the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford.
